UNEXPECTED LOVE

We've been dating for 3 weeks now. We've been doing the same routine. After nang school kung hindi kami busy we're going out to eat and to talk.

Today's Friday, I'm now at my condo finishing my papers. I haven't seen him for a week because he was also busy at his studies.

A whole week without him feels so empty. In the past days without him I realized something. That my feelings for him wasn't an infatuation or anything like that. I like him yes, but everyday my feelings for him was going deeper. I couldn't explain why, or how or when did it even start.

It's now 7 AM and I just finished my last paper work and finally I can rest. But then I remembered that I don't have any groceries left. So I went out to buy some food for me and my dog.

I walked out of the elevator and walked through the hallway, getting my key card in my pocket. When it suddenly fell on the floor. I was about to get it when someone got it first. When I stood up, I was surprised when I saw Justian holding my key.

My lips parted in shock, I understand that his been very busy with his studies since his already graduating student. But I can't just help it to miss him. He didn't even texted me or call me today.

" H-hey," I whispered. My heart suddenly beating so fast but even though I'm still a little mad at him.

" Hey.." He took a step back getting intimidated by my heavy stare.

He was wearing a white hoodie that we bought together and a pair of black shorts with his white sneakers. He's still wearing his bag and holding his keys. He fixed his hair with his other hand letting out a heavy sigh.

" W-why are you here?"  I asked walking towards the door. He took another step back until he was leaning on the wall in front of my door.

" What are you doing here? You should be home,you must be tired. " I  stayed in place still holding my groceries standing in front of my door while holding the doorknob with my other hand. We're two meters away from each other. I just don't want to be near him. I'm still mad he could have called me after he finished his works but instead he came here.

" I missed you."

I chuckled, and shake my head lightly. " You didn't even called me today. Tapos pupunta ka dito? Para sabihin sa'kin na miss mo 'ko?" I nodded, " Okay.."

"I'm sorry. You know I'm busy.." He said looking at me

I nodded," I understand." I whispered and opened my door, when I'm inside my unit I looked back at him and he was staring at me with his forehead creased. " Just go home ." I sighed closing my door, I felt guilty I know he's tired but still he still came here. My mind was mad but my heart is getting soft.

I placed my groceries on the bar counter, and quickly open the door. I saw him leaving with his hands on his pocket looking at the floor walking towards the elevator.

" Justian! " I called, he looked back at me and I saw tiredness and sadness in his eyes. And because of that my guilt risen more.

I walked towards him looking at the floor, I can feel him staring at me, I looked up at him " I'm sorry.." I said and looked away

" It's okay, I know you do understand me.." he said and pulled me closer to him, " Bati na tayo? Hmm?" He said while pouting, I chuckled and nodded.

" Let's go, what do you want to eat? I'll cook," I said pulling him into my unit, good thing I bought many ingredients for every dish that I can think of cooking.

" Hmm, I want your adobo." He said sitting on the couch, carrying wayde who's wagging his tail and licking his face. I laughed at them when I saw Justian trying to avoid his face and crunching his nose.
