We had finished our food and we waited for the waitress to come back and give us our check. A few moments later she came by and gave it to us, and telling us to have a good day.

I pulled out my wallet and started counting money, when Kokichi put my hand on top of mine.

"Huh?" I glanced at him.

"I'm going to pay for my share." Kokichi grinned at me.

"..What? But I thought you said.."

"I'm a liar, Shuichi! I lied! I'm not going to make you pay for the entire meal~"

I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I wasn't scared to pay, and I wasn't mad about it or anything, but I did contemplate at one point that maybe Kokichi was using me to get free things. But if I knew better than to think that way, I wouldn't mind paying for him.

"Thank you Kokichi." I smiled softly. He gave a small chuckle and just replied with a quiet, "Yeah, no problem Shumai,"

We both counted up our money and waited for Ana to stop by and take the check so that we knew when we left she was the one who got it. You never know when someone random can just steal the money off of your table and get you in trouble for dine-and-dashing.

Kokichi took his phone out and when he turned it on his mouth dropped. Did he get a notification or something?

"It's already 1:09??" He exclaimed. I felt surprised too. Time flies when you're hanging out with your crush I guess..

"Well, we aren't going back until 7/8PM or something, we still have a lot of time. But, we should probably go back around 5 at the latest." I explained to him.

"Yeah, that's fair. Let's continue looking around!" He skipped energetically and I followed him.

We walked around for a little bit, just looking when we saw a playground. There were a few kids there and their parents. There was no one in our age group but I did notice a boy from the age of 13-16 sitting on the equipment using his phone.

"Hey, Shuichi, let's go on the swings!" Kokichi asked excitedly.

I laughed, "You really want to? Wouldn't we scare the kids?"

"Who caaares, this is our day not theirs, cmon, you can even sit next to me, yeah?" He beamed.

"Or you could sit on me." I felt my face immediately burn up after suggesting that, because I realized how he could've taken it the wrong way.

"H-huh?! You want me to sit in your lap.." Kokichi flushed. I thought he would've made a joke about it, but still..

"S-sorry I didn't mean it in a weird way, I just didn't want to hog the swings for the kids so my first thought was to share one.."

"Well, it's not a bad idea." Kokichi said, grabbing my hand. He then smiled, "Ok! Let's go on the swings and I'll sit in your lap."

My feet wrestled the ground as tried to get us swinging. Eventually we started moving but I found it really awkward. 'I'm too tall for this, and Kokichi kind of is too, almost' I thought as we swung.
