CH 18: Secretly in Love

Mew and Gulf had come out to their family and friends as lovers. Though, after the marriage but now they were sure that they won't let go. Everybody was very happy for them. Ace came to the two one day, to say that he won't go after Gulf anymore. Gulf was a little uncomfortable with Ace around, but Mew helped him pull through. Ace did not create any troubles for them, instead he was happy to see Gulf with someone who loved him so dearly. 

To celebrate the acceptance of Mew and Gulf towards each other, their families had planned a dinner together that night.

***AT THE DINNER***

GULF'S POV...

Today, Papa Gun and Papa New are the most excited ones. Daddy Tay and Daddy Off were discussing business, they really have nothing else to do. 

P'Bai brought P'Janister with her, they look really good together. P'Bai is the  princess charming, she is normally very manly. Whereas, P'Janister is very cute and lady like, something my sister needs to learn from her girlfriend. P'Bai has been dating her since high school, and P'Janister can still bear with her. I really commend her for that.

Sammy is sitting with her girlfriend, Pinneare. These two are rather a cute couple. They are like teenagers in their first relationship. Sammy likes to stick to her girlfriend, may it be anything. But this does not make Pinneare use her. Pinneare knows how naive Sammy is, and she  tries to protect her. Sammy and Pinneare make a nice couple, they care about each other in their own ways and the other accepts it.

P'Zee still hasn't told Papa Gun and Daddy Off about him and Saint. He wants to tell about their relationship to the whole universe if possible. He is a fool in love. If not for Saint stopping him, because he is shy and not  ready to face the elders, P'Zee could get it advertised on TV and internet for the whole world to know. 

My husband is looking at me. He's holding my hand under the table. He is so cute when nervous. 

AUTHOR'S POV...

They were all sitting around a circular table. Chats were about their university, what all have they been upto. And suddenly Gun brought up a topic he shouldn't have.

"Zee, everyone here has a lover. When do you plan on getting someone?" Gun was now a little concerned about his eldest child's love life. Zee had been single all his life. He was a very dedicated and loving big brother.

Little did the elders know, he already has a lover. He can't tell them about him and Saint, without Saint's permission. It was their relationship after all, not just his that he can go around making decisions on his own. Upon being asked a question about this topic, he was shook. He didn't know what to say.

"P'Zee will get someone soon" Gulf tried to cover up for his best friend and brother-in-law. He was hitting his husband's hand under the table, asking him for help. Before Mew could get the message, Baifern was already trying to save Zee's face. They were best friends. 

Slowly all of them were helping cover up for Zee, not letting him open his mouth. All of them knew, Zee might spout it out of his mouth. And that won't be good for their relationship. Saint could breathe fire if something makes him angry. Gulf had seen Saint's wrath and would never want to see it again. Saint could be ruthless at times, he got it from his papa.

After a long chain of excuses from the kids' mouths, OffGun decided to leave the topic alone. 

"Leave this. Mew, Gulf you tell me" New was so done with all those words. Gulf looked at his papa in confusion. Mew was still busy with his food. "What have you two planned about the future?" New asked the two unaware souls. "About?..." Mew was not sure of what were they asking of their future exactly.

"When do you plan on having kids?" Gun explained them the meaning of New's question. Gulf looked at his husband since he didn't know what to say. Mew looked back at his wife and he too didn't know what to say at first. They had never had a conversation about this topic.

"Not now. But after university is all we know for now." Mew managed the situation very well. Gulf knew nothing but to blush at  this. Zee looked at them, surprised.

"you two have even decided on that?!" Zee asked. 

"Yep! After all, I am not a wife-less man like you Phi" Mew answered, smiling like an idiot and holding his lovely wife's hand under the table. 

Sammy was now mocking at her 'single' brother. She almost spilled the beans about Saint, but Janister covered up by saying Saint has returned and even  more handsome than before. 

The family spent almost the whole night together talking stupid stuff. They only went back home when they realized it was around 2 in the morning.

Zee made an excuse that he'd go to MewGulf's for the night. He actually headed to his boyfriend's.

***SAINT'S APARTMENT***

Saint was trying to sleep, he had his head stuck on something he could not understand. He felt stressed and worried about something, but he couldn't identify the cause. He was turning and twisting all over his bed to find a comfortable position to sleep. 

He was still struggling to fall asleep when his doorbell ring. He checked the time and it was almost 3 am. "Who could it be at this hour?" Saint asked himself, getting out of his bed room walking towards the door. It was his boyfriend, at this hour he came to him. Saint opened the door, letting him in.

"P'Zee, what are you doing here at this hour?" Saint crossed his arms near his chest."Visiting my boyfriend" Zee smiled. Saint liked his  answer but  was still angry for him coming without any notice. "P'Zee, why are you here? Aren't your parents suspicious?" Saint was serious. His seriousness did not affect Zee, "I told them I'm going to Mew's place. Plus they were too sleepy to get suspicious" Zee smiled again. Saint was still frowning a little.  

Zee saw the frown on his little boyfriend's face still not fading. He pulled Saint close to him, Saint feel on his lap. Zee did not plan on letting him get away, so he hugged him tight. Saint was enjoying the hug and didn't try to get away, instead he laid his head on Zee's neck.

"I didn't want to go home, or I'll have to tell my parents about us and you don't want elders to know it yet. They'd force me into telling them everything" Zee explained, patting Saint's head lightly. Saint was delighted to know his boyfriend didn't take things in his hands and considered his words. "P'Zee, I am sleepy"Saint whined cutely, Zee smiled and took him to the bedroom.

Saint laid on Zee's chest and Zee pulled him in a tight hug. Saint smiled and then slept peacefully. Zee was looking at his face for sometime and fell asleep soon too.
