When we got back to The Right Arm, we set the train car down so we could work on getting it open. After breaking the seal, Thomas, Newt and I went inside. I had a big smile on my face, ready to see my sassy best friend. I especially wanted to be the first to greet him, because if it weren't for him saving my life back in the Scorch, I would've been where he was. I do feel sorry that it was him though, and every day for the past six months, I still wish that it was me.

One by one, we checked each of their faces. I saw Aris and Sonya, and once we got the bolt cutters to free them, Harriet ran up and gave them a big hug. I hugged them next.

"Hey, guys," I said. "Welcome home, I missed you."

"Thank you, Rosalee," Sonya replied, squeezing me tightly as if I was going to disappear.

I let go and gave them a big smile while still holding their hands for comfort. Thomas and Newt also greeted them, then they got out with Harriet. I picked out the kids one by one, but I didn't see the other familiar face I was looking for. The smile on my face slowly started to fade, realizing that Minho wasn't here.

"He's not here," I said glumly.

Thomas also had a defeated expression on his face, knowing that we didn't grab the right one. Newt suddenly brushed passed me, not even once glancing up to look at me.

"Newt," I said and followed him out.

He didn't stop, he just kept going.

"Newt!" I said again.

I was going to go after him when Thomas grabbed my arm.

"Just let him go," he said.

I winced a little when I looked down at my arm, remembering that I got shot. First, I cut myself on a piece of glass when we were escaping W.I.C.K.E.D., then a broken fragment of a wooden steak stabbed me, and now this? Thomas escorted me to the paramedics to get it treated. There, we greeted Sonya and Aris. He didn't look so good, nor did she. They were pale and skinny; Aris had a black eye. But the most important thing was that they were alive and safe. They explained that they were always moving around like something big was happening. What is W.I.C.K.E.D. doing?

Thomas and I also found out that they mentioned a city. I think that's where they were heading to. But there weren't any cities left, none that were still standing anyway, according to Brenda.

After I was patched up, Thomas went to go talk to Vince. But he walked me over to Fry's kitchen first. While we were walking, I was thinking about the way Newt stormed out of the crate. He seemed so upset, and I thought that I was the cause of it.

"You okay, Rosalee?" Thomas asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied.

I looked down at my shoes, still thinking about it. Then, I just blurted out the question.
