The tyrant returns

Danny was sitting in the library searching references for his essay . He was so immersed in his work that he didn't notice Josh came and sat by his side .

Josh smirked to himself as he saw Danny working on his essay , for the first time Josh took a good look at Danny . Danny is as fair as him , his features are very sharp and his eyeballs are of light brown colour .

Josh grinned and poked Danny's cheeks , Danny was startled.

"What the heck ?"

"What ??? You look so cute when you work...especially when you bite on your lower lip ?"

"Heh !"

"What don't you know ?"

"No , I don't do anything like that !"

"Well next time I caught you biting on your lip I'll definitely record it as a proof"

"Okay , okay"

"Well have you decided ?"

"About what ?"

"About the participation?"

"Oh!....I don't know and honestly I don't want to participate in any of these"

"Come'n Danny don't be a spoil sport...participate at least in one....it's related to the reputation of our school ?"

"And what I'm gonna do ? Go up the stage and dance like a monkey ?"

"That's far better then just sitting and doing your stupid essay !....all the boys are hyped about the feast...they all are practising hard....preparations have already started but here you are sitting like an idiot !"

"Josh I don't want to participate just like I said and moreover stop shouting it's a library !"

"Okay I'll stop shouting but you have to participate,okay ?"

"I already said that I won't !"

"Why are you so bent on asking a loser to participate in the feast ? He would rather hole up somewhere then go up the stage and do something"

Danny and Josh was startled at the sudden intervention . They both looked up to find Zeus standing there with his menacing gaze . Danny didn't uttered a single word , Josh's expression changed .

"So , kitty did you miss me ?" , Zeus said as he pulled out a chair and made himself comfortable .

" I'll be short", Zeus said as he looked towards Danny , " Last time we didn't get to settle our scores right ? So, don't you think it's time we do it"

Danny remained silent .

Zeus continued, " Well as you can see the feast is coming up and almost everybody is participating in something....why don't you participate in something and win it and prove yourself ?"

"Prove myself ? To whom ? You ?.....I don't think there is any need to do something as stupid as that !"

" Why , are you scared you'll be trampled again and end up in a hospital ?" , Zeus smirked

Danny didn't responded .

"Then why don't you participate and prove yourself little kitty ?" , with this Zeus stood up and went away .

Danny didn't uttered a single word . Josh saw Danny , his face was expressionless. Josh was about to say something when Danny asked , " can I have the list of events again ?"

"Yeah sure....here you go but just so you know sports corner is full, entry is open for only performing arts"

Danny went through the list of contents again - Singing , Dancing , beatboxing , instruments and drama - Singing isn't an option for him , what if someone recognises his voice . Danny was torn between Dance and instrument .
