Test !

"A test ????...why ??? I mean that's not fair !!", Josh said while pouting his lips .

"Yes , Mr. Ackerman said he would be taking a test next week so that we all don't get too carried away with the feast preparation" , Danny said with his usual expressionless face .

"Ugh ! It's too troublesome, we have so much to prepare for and now there's a bio test"

"You're sulking for no reason"

Josh rolled his eyes .

Danny turned his face towards the book again . Biology is his favourite subject . He is very curious about the functioning of the body . The fact that humans are born from humans with such complex functioning leaves him in wonder of it . Danny went through the glycolysis process , it's a part of carbohydrate metabolism. Glycolysis is a universal pathway in a living cell , it is a sequence of reaction converting glucose to pyruvate or lactate with the production of ATP . Danny took a good look at the reaction cycle and made a mental note of it .

Josh looked towards Danny , he knew Danny's lost in his world , he is focused now , in this past one month Josh knows a little bit about Danny's behavioural pattern . He knows Danny doesn't like people interfering when he is working no matter who you are . But that is not something Josh is concerned about , to everyone's surprise the Mighty Zeus is keeping a low profile these days but why ? , Josh's facial expression has changed.

Danny looked towards Josh , he saw him brooding over something , he lifted his notebook and banged it lightly on Josh's head .

Josh was startled, "Hell, what was that for ?"

"Stop daydreaming and get yourself working"

Josh made a pouting face again , " Ugh !! Yes , of course 'Teacher'"

Danny gave him a dirty look.

The test day .

Everyone's been working hard for the test , it's the first test since the session started , nobody wants to get on the bad books .

Danny was sitting in his usual place beside the window , he was looking towards the sky. The sky was clear , with its mesmerising blue and calming white .

Danny was so immersed in gazing at the sky that he didn't noticed Josh standing in front of his desk . Josh playfully lifted his exam board and lightly banged Danny's head .

Danny was startled, "Ouch!"

Josh giggled , " So how's the taste of your own medicine ?"

Danny gave Josh a dirty look .

"Okay okay fine !...I'm sorry...so how's your preparation?"

"Mmm okay I guess !"

"Okay ?"

"I mean I guess I'm won't probably get on the bad books of Mr. Ackerman"

"Well there's no chance of you getting in the bad book"

"Why ?"

"Why you ask ?...I mean come'n Mr. Danny do you even do anything apart from studying , I mean I haven't seen you doing anything except for the fact that you are participating in Dance yet you won't show me any of your moves , how am I supposed to believe you ?"

"Well this kitty has some good moves"

Josh and Danny both looked up to see Zeus along with his group standing there. Zeus smirked at Danny with his menacing gaze .

After that night , Danny has been avoiding Zeus , he even changed his rehearsal schedule.

Zeus could feel that Danny was uncomfortable with his presence and it made him happier than ever . He smirked and went away with his group and took their respective seats .
