Red

Danny's lay unconscious in the tub , Zeus's eyes were fixed on him . Danny's lips went pale , his eyes shut , blood oozing out of his feet turning the water red .

Zeus tightened his jaw and said , " Take Josh to the infirmary and inform the nurse"

Kenny nodded and looked at Elijah . Elijah lifted Josh up and went to the infirmary .

But Zeus's eye was locked at Danny . He came closer and crouched to get a better look at Danny .

Zeus let out a sigh and lifted Danny up in his arms , water dripping down his body , his shirt clinging to his body tightly exposing his brownish nipples complementing his pale skin . Zeus held him tightly and started walking towards his room .

Kenny stopped Zeus midway , " Where are you taking him ?"

"To my room" , Zeus said with a firm face .

"Why ?"

Zeus turned around to face Kenny meanwhile giving him a death look . Kenny was about to say something but couldn't , he just stood there and watched Zeus walking away holding Danny in his arms .

Zeus entered his room , walked towards his bed and lay Danny down . He then closed his door and turned around to see Danny lying in his bed defenceless . Zeus didn't turned on the lights , his room is dark but a streak of light entered his room from the lamp post just outside his room and that streak of light is enough to brighten the dark room of Zeus .

Zeus came closer to Danny , he is still unconscious. He slowly unbuttoned his shirt and removed it exposing Danny's pale skin ; Zeus's eyes unconsciously changed it's gaze , it's soft now , just like a kid captivated by the beauty of the stars twinkling in the sky . He lifted his left hand and rested it against Danny's chest , the coldness in his body now sucked on the warmth that Zeus's hand possess, Zeus grabbed the towel next to him and patted Danny's body with it , his chest , his ribs , his stomach , his hands , Zeus then lifted Danny up with his left hand , grabbed him by the waist and pat dried his back and shoulder , he pat dried his hair as well . He then looked at the bed sheets , it's already wet , he then placed a dry towel and rested Danny over it . Danny's body is still cold making the hair on his nape erect , Zeus traced his fingers throughout Danny's upper body feeling his goosebumps against his fingertips .

Zeus unbuckled Danny's pants and slowly removed it , his pale white legs have turned red giving his legs a pinkish complexion but the bleeding from his feet hasn't stopped yet . Zeus stood up and fetched the medical kit that he always keeps handy in his room . He took some cotton pad , dipped it in a disinfectant liquid and patted over the bleeding area , he cleaned the area but the blood flow didn't stopped, Zeus took a glance at unconscious Danny , he then lifted Danny's left leg where the cut was deep and kissed it , he kissed every cut on both of Danny's legs , his lips touching Danny's cold feet ,  the warmth of the blood oozing out of his feet stained his lips red ; red , the colour of passion , the colour that makes you feel alive , the colour that ignites the fire inside you - stained not only Zeus's lips but his soul as well .

Zeus quickly applied an ointment and bandaged the affected area . He then brought a change of clothes. Zeus removed Danny's underwear , it's all wet , leaving Danny more exposed and vulnerable - Zeus's heart skipped a beat , his heart had gained a lightning speed , his breathing felt heavy and he felt a whirlpool of emotions inside , " Stop behaving like a child" , Zeus scolded himself but his eyes fixated at Danny's exposed self .

Zeus gulped and with a blink of an eye he changed Danny into his pyjamas, he then lifted Danny up changed him into a white round neck tee of his and moved him to the other side of the bed . He then quickly cleaned up the stained sheets and changed into fresh opens . It was really troublesome as he had to toss Danny back and forth to change the sheets . He covered Danny with the quilt and went to the bathroom to clean himself because his lips were all stained by Danny's blood .

Zeus stood in front of the mirror over the  washbasin and looked at his reflection , he lifted his fingers and touched his lips , his wet hand cleaning the stains of the blood . Zeus closed his eyes , he recalled Danny's feet against his lips , his blood , his pale skin - everything that makes his heart race like a mad horse . He opened his eyes and smirked , " You lost it , you lost it"

Zeus changed into fresh pair of clothes and threw the stained clothes along with Danny's wet clothes into the laundry bucket. He went straight to the bed , Danny's still unconscious and his skin is still cold , Zeus lifted Danny's head and placed him over his right hand , he then hugged Danny tightly.

Danny's warm breathe brushed against Zeus's chest , a pale chill ran down his spine , making his heart race against time , he felt his heart might explode any moment now . He held Danny tighter in his arms and buried his head against Danny's hair . "His hair smells nice", Zeus lifted his left hand and stroked Danny's hairs , he removed the hair falling over Danny's forehead , " He looks like an angel while he sleeps" ,he thought to himself. Zeus gave Danny a quick peck on his forehead and went to sleep .

The light from the lamp post was shinning brighter than usual .

Danny slowly opened his eyes , he was thirsty but somehow he couldn't move , his body felt heavy , he lifted his head but he felt dizzy , he then again tried to lift his head but in a slow motion and saw Zeus sleeping as he hugged Danny by the waist while his head rested against Danny's stomach .

Danny's fuming in anger , he tossed Zeus over , removed the quilt and stepped out of the bed and *thud* he fell down , his legs were  shaking. He saw the bandages on his legs , he was about to remove them when someone grabbed his hand , he lifted his head to see Zeus , Zeus held his hand tightly -

"Let go of my hand"

Zeus didn't reacted instead he lifted Danny up in his arms and placed him on his bed .

"I said let go of me , Zeus"

Zeus didn't uttered a single word , he looked at the bandages , it wasn't tampered , he then lifted the quilt and placed it over Danny only to add fire to his anger .

Danny removed the quilt and was about to get up from bed when Zeus said , " Rest Danny , your body needs rest"

Danny looked at Zeus , his eyes burning with anger , " Zeus , let go of me , I need to go"

"No, you don't"

" Stop your shitty nonsense and let me go", with this Danny was about to get up from bed when Zeus pinned his hands over his bed and he climbed over Danny making him unable to mobilise properly.

"Let go of me , you bastard , I have had enough of you"

"How can that be , I mean , I have barely started and you are already giving up ?...I don't like easy play kitten"

"What have I done to deserve this ? What do you want Zeus ? I am sick and tired of your behaviour, just leave me alone , I'm tired , I want to have a normal life"

Zeus could feel Danny's body trembling underneath him . Danny hung his head , Zeus extended his right arm and lifted Danny's face , he saw streaks of tear cascading down his cheeks . Danny turned his head , he don't want anyone to see him vulnerable , not at least to this guy .

Zeus lifted Danny's face again , he was about to brush off the tears when Danny said , " No don't" , Zeus's hands stopped , he looked at Danny , Danny continued, " How dare you to brush my tears off ! You're not close enough to do that" , Danny said with a firm face .

Zeus looked at Danny for a few seconds , he saw the anger in his eyes , he saw pain that is being exposed as Danny spoke those words . Zeus brought his face close to Danny's and kissed his eyes , his tears , his cheeks .  Danny's pupils dilated, he couldn't utter a single word , Zeus has caught him off guard, he wanted Zeus to stop but he couldn't. The more he wanted this to end the more tears came flowing down as if they were aware of being liberated. Zeus lifted his head up to see Danny looking at him with a surprised look , Zeus smirked and bent over Danny's ears to whisper , "Don't look at me like that , I might no be able to hold back" . Danny's face flushed with shades of red , Zeus felt the embarrassment on Danny's face so he just pounded over the opportunity and pressed his lips against Danny's lips . Danny was startled and before he could do anything he felt Zeus's tongue intertwining with his , Danny couldn't think of anything, he felt like melting against the warmth of Zeus's tongue , his mind went blank .
