Match Day

Danny came to the field along with his team which comprised of Josh , Ryan , Neil, Drake, Kurt, Jacob, Claus, Ricky, John, Kevin and Danny himself .

The match surely created an uproar among the boys. The gallery's full even the teachers came to watch the game .

Danny glanced at the field and saw Zeus along with his teammates. He saw the red head Kenny smirking at him , now Danny knows all the names of Zeus's team all thanks to Josh of course but whatever be the fact Danny cannot shake of the affairs of that night , 'Better stop thinking about it',Danny scolded himself and started adjusting his gears .

Kevin, teams goal keeper came forward and said, "Danny, this is for the last time I am asking you to be careful of Zeus and his team mates , they are aggressive in their game , they won't go easy on you".

"Kevin you said this for the infinite time, just relax and enjoy the game, I'm trusting on you for saving us from any goal so please trust me a little and my strategy"

"Danny it isn't about the game , it's about you getting crushed , Zeus won't give a second glance on us, this whole game is set up just to crush you down"

"Kevin, I know that's why I need you people because it's not just my fight it's the fight of all those innocent boys who are tormented by that brat , so the question of loosing or me getting crushed shouldn't be arising.....let's give our best".

It was almost time , the boys gathered in the field .

"Let's do it boys, just remember our strategy 4-4-2 and as per your knowledge they gonna come with 4-2-3-1, this formation comes with exhaustion at the end and that's when we attack, Josh you'll be pairing with me , Ricky , Jacob cover for us and the rest lies in your hand Kevin", Danny said and the boys nodded in unison .

The game begins with Zeus's team taking the lead , they sure are aggressive in their game , pushing and toppling people around them , Jay is their main attacker covering for Zeus. Danny judged the whole situation , he knew the 4-4-2 formation comes with a weakness too , this formation is very predictable but at the same time very effective to counter an aggressive attack. Danny saw Zeus coming forth with the ball, he countered it and took the ball away from Zeus but couldn't move far , Jay took the ball and passed it too Zeus again allowing him to enter the opponents yard box . Danny saw Josh countering Zeus , he quickly moved to that direction but out of blue Jay pushed Danny down , Danny rolled over the grass but quickly stood up and moved again , this time he realised Jay defended Danny from moving forward , he saw that Zeus has already entered the final defence , Danny's heart rate has gone up , he thought it's going to hit the goal but all thanks to Claus , he took the ball from Zeus and passed it Josh . Danny saw Josh moving forward with the ball , he quickly signalled Ricky to counter Jay or else he won't be able to move forward, Ricky taking the hint defended Jay allowing Danny to move forward , Josh came forward with the ball and passed it too Danny , Danny made a quick move and infiltrated into the second defence line and passed the ball to Josh while the rest of the players defended the attackers . They infiltrated the final defence line , Josh was about to pass the ball to Danny when one the opponent took the ball and passed it on to Kenny who further passed the ball to Zeus , Zeus took the ball and quickly infiltrated the opponent's yard box in no time, he went straight to the final defence line and shot the ball making it a clear goal .

The whole gallery made an uproar as the first goal was shot within 20 minutes of the game. Danny stood their expressionless , as expected Zeus is good in his game . But he can't afford to loose it , the game has just began.

The rest 25 minutes of the first half of the game went in attacking and countering not allowing either of the party to score a goal .

The 15 minute break started, Danny along with the other players sat in the bench sipping energy drinks when Josh said , "Danny Jay is always hovering around you, he is specifically countering your movements....."

"I know that's why I'm the second half Kurt counter Jay , Josh you'll be with me , Ricky and Jacob take care of Kenny don't let him get close to Zeus and I'll leave the rest to Kevin, this time we'll attack first , okay ? "

"Okay", the team nodded in unison .

With the referee's whistle the second half began. As Danny said , he took the ball and infiltrated the opponent's yard box , he moved quickly , Zeus countered him , both the boys were fighting over the ball , countering each other, Zeus grabbed Danny by his collar not allowing him to move forward , Danny desperately tried to free himself but in vain so he quickly passed the ball to Josh , Josh took the ball and move forward, Zeus saw the ball getting away and got angry , he pushed Danny hard on the ground and kicked him straight in his stomach . The game came to a sudden halt with the referees whistle and showing Zeus a yellow card warning him for his violence . Zeus didn't uttered a single word , Danny saw Zeus , he was wearing the same menacing expression as always . Meanwhile, the medical team came to check for any injuries but fortunately there were nothing but scratches.

"Be careful Danny , it's gonna get dirty from now on", Josh reminded Danny

Danny nodded in reply .

The game resumed with Zeus's team taking the lead. Kenny took the ball and passed it to Zeus , Jay was trying to counter Danny but was countered by Kurt as per Danny's instruction, Danny tried to moved quickly, even though nothing was serious but Zeus did kicked him hard in the stomach affecting his mobility . Danny moved forward to counter Zeus , it was an easy attack and in no time Danny took the ball from Zeus and moved forward infiltrating the opponent's yard box , his teammates countered the opponents paving way for Danny to reach the goal post and goal !!!!

So, the score was 1-1 , the crowd made a huge uproar . Josh jumped over Danny congratulating him. Danny felt a menacing gaze through the corner of his eye, he turned his head to see Zeus gazing Danny with his intensified menacing gaze . Danny looked away , he knew the rest 20 minutes of the game is crucial .
