Third POV
Naruto wanted to get the feelings off his chest; but he couldn't. As they were once again, very close to each other. He pulled back reluctantly and turned his head away. Naruto's cheeks had a faint blush on them. "I want to tell you Shika, but I can't. I think I need to head home early today. I'm sorry." His voice sound broken. As he got up, grabbing his headwear, naruto felt his body become numb.
Shikamaru was confused. He began thinking of each possiblity but nothing seemed right. His dark brown eyes followed naruto out of the room. A sigh came from the Nara's lips.
Naruto Pov
Walking out of his own office was dumb. 'i need to settle things with Hinata. It's not fair. Dammit what about the kids?' He felt his heart hurt and breath quicken. Once again I'm falling into an anxiety attack. Using as much strength as possible, I hurried home. When the front door came into view, I tried to calm myself down. After what seemed like hours, he finally grounded himself and was ready to talk. Opening the front door, Himawari yelled for me. A small smile appeared on my lips as I picked Hima up. "Hey my girl." Kissing her head softly, he carried her into the living room. "Umm, kids can you please go upstairs? Your mother and I have too talk." Both kids were confused but listened. As they went to their rooms, I turned my attention to Hinata.
Third POV
Hinata could tell that Naruto wasn't himself. She has known for a while that he doesn't return the feelings. She's okay with it though; it hurts but she's okay. She sat down on the couch beside of Naruto, gently taking his hands. He was a nervous wreck though, how can he tell his wife that he doesn't love her? Naruto took a deep breath, his hands visibly shaking. "Hinata, I'm so sorry. I love you--well I did love you. But I don't have the same love for you as I once did. I know you will probably hate me but I--" His words were cut off as Hinata hugged naruto tight. She spoke in a soft tone. "It's okay Naruto-Kun. I understand. I could tell that something wasn't okay. I'm not mad at you or hate you. It hurts but that is to be expected. You are an amazing person and I just want you happy." Naruto could feel his tears falling down his cheeks. Hinata is such a good and sweet person. He could feel his heart breaking for her. His tone became a whisper. "Thank you Hinata... You deserve so much more."
