Alex's POV
After picking up my medication refills from the pharmacy, Liam drives me back home. I was a bit nervous to go back home after the unknown threats I was getting and with what happened this morning, but seeing the security guards around the house as we pulled up at the gates, put me at ease.
After the security guard confirmed who we were, he opened up the house gates and Liam proceeded to drive up to the front doors
"You hired extra security?" he asks
"Ya, just to be safe" I say
"Why did something happen?" He questions
I didn't want to tell him, since I knew he would worry and I wasn't entirely too sure if anything was serious yet, it could just be a stupid prank for all I know...
"No nothing happened. Don't worryyyyy!" I smile and grab his hand
He parks in front of the mansion doors, and I notice the lights on
As I stare at the endless amount of property, I let out a groan "Why such a big house?" I question
He lets out a chuckle, "Too big for your taste?"
"Way too big..." I answer
"Is Molly staying the night?" he asks
"Ya she is" I confirm, she knew I didn't want to stay alone after what happened this morning and was worried for me, so she decided to stay the night so that I'm not alone
"Okay well if you need anything, please let me know" he says and brings my hand closer to his mouth, giving it a kiss
"Goodnight Alexandra Anderson"
"Goodnight Liam Wilson" I grin and get out of the car making my way to the doors
I open the door and wave at him as I enter the house.
"Molly I'm home" I call out
"Alex dear, I ordered the extra security, did you see them at the front of the gates?" she aks worried
"Yes I did, they are there. Thank you again" I say and give her a hug
"Dont worry dear, you are safe. Now go and relax, you have a long day at work tomorrow. Documents sent from the office are on your desk" she says and takes my coat off
"Oh what would I do without you Molly" I sigh and make my way up the stairs to the home office
I walk in and go to the desk looking through the files, reading documents and making some small last minute emails before going to bed. I tie my hair up into a bun and put on my reading glasses to read the documents.
After spending about 2 hours in the office, I realize it's 12am. I should probably go to bed. As I'm about to get up, my phone rings. With my heart beating fast, I notice it's the 'unknown' number. I immediately send it to voicemail.
