Rainbow's POV

After the unusual incident yesterday, I decided to precceed with my decision ; follow Quibble around in order to prove my theory right, most likely it will be.

Unlike the past, this time will be different. I'll handle things differently, since I've obviously matured from last year.

Just as I was about to hide in the bushes, I found myself heading the opposite way towards a certain someone, who may hold the answers to my insane curiosity. In case you don't know who, I meant Soarin Skies. Ya know, the guy who is hopelessly in love with me.

Geez... I'm just teasing, alright? 'Cuz I know a couple of our friends ship us. They must be blinded by the lights to not realize how incompatible Soarin and I really are. What goes on in their noggins, honestly.

" What are you doing here?" He asks bluntly, paying no attention to me but to his rusted basketball instead.

Is it just me, or has he been a bit rude lately? Have I done or said something wrong? Highly doubt it. What can I possibly say to upset him?

" I just came to hang around, since we're friends, ya know " I bluffed.

Technically I wasn't lying, I have been meaning to, just simply haven't had much time.

" uh huh " he nodded, tossing the basketball into the hoop. " Funny thing, I'm not really convinced that's why you're standing on my front porch lawn "

" Whaaat? " I let out a self conscious laugh " You're funny!"

" Am I, really? " he frowned, suspicious about my unexpected arrival.

" Fine! I came because... " I paused, hesitant to bring Soarin in the awful situation. Won't that only make matters worse?

No Dash! He has an idea of what that deceiving son of a- is up to. Ya gotta beg him to help you!

Bottom line, this is a bad idea... but necessary.

" I'm listening"

" I came here because I suspect Quibble is up to something devious, and perhaps you know something about it?"

" Maybe I do, maybe I don't. Who knows? " He grins.

" You're really 'gon be like that, Soar?"

" Okay then... WHY should I help you? "

" Uh... hello" I scoffed arrogantly, holding in the little bit of fury I felt inside " I'm your friend!"

Somehow that wasn't enough to give Soarin into persuasion. " I'll think about it" he abruptly replied.

Soarins POV

I heard footsteps behind me, that have seemed to be following me all the way to school. It's Rainbow Dash, obviously. Who else would stalk me? Okay... besides every other girl attending CHS, but seriously. Who else is this desperate to the point where stalking is an option?

I've been worried about her lately, but ofcourse I don't show it. Infact, I do the complete opposite.

If I show how much I care she'll realize... my hidden feelings. I rather live like this then get rejected.

" What'd ya need Dashie?" I turned back around.

" huh" she murmured, with a puzzled look. My dumb mind wasn't giving much thought to my speech. I meant to say Dash.
