San pulled away from the kiss and looked away from Wooyoung, his head hanging low.

"I'm sorry." Wooyoung apologized and San shook his head.

"Don't be. I'm just...I don't know if I'm ready for another relationship yet." San said and Wooyoung nodded.

"I can wait for you, San. I really can. But if you aren't ready, then we can just stay friends." Wooyoung insisted and San nodded.

"I just need some time. That's all, really." San told the younger as he took a quick glance at his watch that was on his wrist.

"I actually have to go now, though. Do you mind walking the rest of the way home by yourself?" San asked and Wooyoung shook his head.

"I don't mind at all. Thank you for taking care of me last night, San. I'll see you soon, okay?" Wooyoung said, waving goodbye to the older as he started to leave.

"No problem. I'll see you later, Wooyoung."

It had been a few days since San had last seen Wooyoung. Not only had he not seen Wooyoung, but today was Jongho's first day of his work that he had to do while he was in town, meaning he couldn't watch Hwayoung during the daytime anymore.

"Bye bye, Hwayoung. I have to go take some fun pictures. I'll see you later though, okay?" Jongho told her as tears began to weld up in her big brown eyes.

"No! You can't leave, Uncle Jongho!" Hwayoung cried, hugging onto his leg tightly.

Jongho chuckled and kneeled down, bringing her into a tight hug.

"Don't worry, Hwayoung. I'll be back before you know it. Be good at kindergarten today, okay? And be good for your daddy." Jongho reassured her and she gave him a sad nod, her uncle giving her a big smile.

"That's my cute niece. I'll see you later, hyung." Jongho said, waving goodbye to the two of them as he headed out of the apartment.

Hwayoung's eyes filled with tears and San kneeled down next to her, rubbing her back soothingly.

"Don't worry, sweetheart. He'll be back later. Let's get you ready for kindergarten, okay?" He said and the tears left her eyes, a smile now showing on her face.

"Yay! Let's go, appa! Can you do my hair cute today?" She asked as she skipped off to her bedroom happily and San chuckled.

"Of course, baby. Which do you prefer, French braids or a pony tail?" He asked her as he followed her into her room, getting out her pre-planned outfit from her closet.
