"Uncle Jongho!" Hwayoung yelled as she ran up to Jongho, giving him a giant hug.

"Awe, hi Hwayoung. Have you missed me?" He asked, ruffling her hair playfully before picking her up to give her a hug.

"More than anything! I haven't seen you in a long time!" She said, making the red-haired male smile.

"How was your day, sweet pea?" San asked his daughter as Jongho put her down on the floor, Hwayoung holding onto his hand tightly.

"It was great! My teacher told me that I got a really high score on my math worksheet!" She told him happily, a wide smile on her face.

"That's great, baby. I'm very proud of you!" San praised her, giving her a small high five.

"Should we go get some ice cream to celebrate?" Jongho suggested and San was about to object before he continued on.

"Don't worry, San. It's on me. The least I can do is treat you two. You're letting me stay with you guys for free, so this is me paying you back for that." Jongho insisted, San giving in and agreeing.

"Yay! Thank you Uncle Jongho!" Hwayoung said happily, jumping up and down.

-

"Alright, Hwayoung. It's time for bed." San told her, making the little girl frown.

"Already, appa? Can't I just stay up a little while longer?" She begged and San shook his head.

"No, baby. It's already past your bed time. You need to get some rest, okay? If you want, I'm sure Uncle Jongho wouldn't mind tucking you in and singing you a lullaby to help you fall asleep." San told her and an evil little smile spread on her face.

"Did I hear the words sing and lullaby in the same sentence?" Jongho asked, popping his head into Hwayoung's room, making her giggle.

"Appa, you summoned him!" Hwayoung giggled, pointing at Jongho who was now waiting in the door way.

"That's right. I'm here to sing you a lullaby before bed. Do you have any in mind?" He asked Hwayoung, taking a seat on the edge of her bed as she was laying under the covers.

"Um...surprise me!" She said, her arms going up in the air, making the two males chuckle.

"Okay. Sweet Night it is, then." Jongho said, clearing his throat and getting ready to sing for his niece.

"Yay!"

-

"She's out like a light." Jongho told San as he took a seat on the couch next to him.

"Thank you, Jongho. She is fine during the day, but putting her to bed is a pain. It's like she never wants to sleep. I don't understand how kids have so much energy, to be honest." San said tiredly, laying back against the couch.

"Kids will be kids. Although, she really is a cutie. She would be even cuter if she had your genetics, though." Jongho sighed and San nodded along.

"She really would. I thought she was my own kid for the longest time, too. When I found out she wasn't mine, it was heartbreaking. I cried for hours on end." San started to open up and Jongho looked over at him.

"Wait, you're finally gonna tell me this story? I've been waiting to hear about this for years." Jongho spoke and San nodded.

"You deserve to know. Even though she isn't biologically my own child, I want to raise her like she is. I'll have to tell her the truth someday, though. I'm really not looking forward to that. It took me such a long time to get over Minyoung. She cheated on me, as you know." San went on and Jongho nodded.

"She was such a bitch. Like who the fuck does something like that? She cheated on you with another guy and told you the baby was yours when it was really the other guys. Yet, you still kept her. You amaze me, San."

"I didn't want them to raise her. Considering the fact that Minyoung almost had an abortion, there was no way I was going to let her raise Hwayoung." San told him and Jongho agreed.

"I wouldn't let that bitch have custody of her either. Girls are such bitches. That's why I'm gay." Jongho said and San laughed.

"Yeah. Since we didn't get to it earlier, how are you and Hongjoong?" San asked and Jongho smiled.

"We're really good. It's almost our three year anniversary. I think he is going to propose, actually. I know I'm only 22 and he is 24, but I think I'm ready. I really love him, San."

"I'm so happy for you, Jongho. How is Yunho?Have you heard from him recently?" San asked and Jongho shook his head in reply.

"I haven't, actually. He is on vacation with Mingi in the states. They decided to go to Hawaii together for their 6 year anniversary. He already posted some cute photos on his Instagram though, so I bet they're having a great time. I'm honestly surprised they aren't married yet." Jongho explained and San smiled.

"I'm glad they're doing well. Me too, though. They have been together since they were seventeen. I bet it's going to happen soon. I would love to just have a guys night out with everyone once we all have free time, but I've just been so busy lately. And I can't afford a baby sitter for Hwayoung." San said sadly, running his fingers through his hair.

Jongho pulled out his wallet and handed San some money.

"Here."

"Jongho, I can't take this. Please, I really don't need this. Everything is fine right now. We're steady." San reassured the younger, but his brother refused.

"Take it, San. I promised you that I would help out with Hwayoung. Use this to get her a babysitter sometime or to pay for her kindergarten. Even groceries, hell, I don't care. Just use it wisely like I know you will." Jongho insisted and San took it, putting it in his wallet.

"Fine. But next time I'm treating you to dinner."

"If you insist. I'm gonna head to bed." Jongho told him, giving San a small side hug as he got up and started heading back to his bedroom.

"Sleep well, brother." San told him, turning off the lamp in the living room before heading back to his own room.

"I love you, San."

San smiled to himself as he gripped the doorknob to his bedroom.

"I love you too, Jongho."
