A few days had passed since Wooyoung's mom died. He was still in a slump, which wasn't unexpected. However, this slump made it extremely hard for him to be around his daughter.
"Appa, can I go see daddy Wooyoung?" Hwayoung asked as she sat on San's lap, cuddling with him as she watched her morning cartoons in the living room.
San let out a soft sigh and nodded.
"Sure, baby. I bet he would really appreciate one of your hugs right now. Let's go." He said and she smiled happily, getting off of his lap and rushing over to San and Wooyoung's shared bedroom.
She knocked softly before entering, seeing Wooyoung buried under the covers.
"Daddy Wooyoung, I came to give you some cuddles." She said softly and the male sat up a bit, opening his arms for her presence.
San smiled at the sight, happy that Wooyoung was finally letting Hwayoung into his personal space.
"Thank you, sweetheart. I love your cuddles." He whispered as he managed a small smile, some tears forming in his eyes.
"I hope you get better soon, daddy." Hwayoung told him, placing a kiss on his cheek before waddling away and into her bedroom.
San walked in as he watched his daughter go back into her room, closing the door behind him.
"Hey, baby. How are you holding up?" He asked, his tone soft and gentle as crawled into bed next to his fiancé, wrapping an arm around him comfortingly.
"I'm okay. I just..I don't know. I regret not seeing her as much these days. When my brother told me the news a few weeks ago, I thought everything was going to be fine. I thought she would be able to pull through and make it to our wedding.." Wooyoung cried, tears streaming down his cheeks once again.
San gave a sad smile and reached up, wiping the tears off of Wooyoung's cheeks with his thumbs before kissing his forehead gently.
"It'll be okay, Woo. We'll get through this together." San encouraged and Wooyoung managed a small nod, pulling San into a loving hug.

Finally, it was time for the long awaited wedding. A whole month and a half had passed since Wooyoung's mom died. He was doing better, but still missing her a lot.
San stood on the stage, dressed nicely in his black tux with his black bow tie. He was waiting patiently for Wooyoung to come down the aisle.
