While Alex was walking home, he was still thinking of what just happened. He honestly couldn't believe it. He met a ghost....
He and him had a conversation. He and him played freaking hide and seek.
"I can't let anyone know about this" He said to himself. "Not even Josh"
He saw his home coming up in the distance.
When he reached the front door he heard a faint rumble sound. He looked up at the sky, but to his surprise he didn't see anything clouds. "Hm? That's strange"
He opened the door and walked in. He forgot that Josh was working on the car.
As he walked in, he saw Josh sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Hey Josh" Alex said as he walked to the bathroom.
"Oh? Alex? Where were you?" Josh asked. "Um... Nowhere.. I.. Was.. um-" Alex did not know what to say.
Josh shrugged. "Ah it's fine. Mom and Dad went to the store to buy something" He said. "Oh.. Alright.. Did you finish the car?" Alex asked. Josh nodded. "I sure did! It works perfectly aswell!"
Alex came out the bathroom. "I.. Can't believe Mr. Clarkson gave us so much math homework" Alex said sighing.
"Yeah, Mrs. Clarkson gave us a lot to" Josh responded. "At least we have all of tomorrow to work on it" Josh said. Alex looked at him confused. "What do you mean by that?" He asked. "You don't know? Tomorrow is a day off? Remember it's that teacher work day thing?"
Alex completely forgot about that. "You know... I forgot about all of that? It's been such a tiring day" He said. Josh chuckled. "Remember that day it was a Saturday and you thought it was Friday and you got up for school and went out the door?" Josh started to laugh more.
Alex's face went red with embarrassment. "You just had to remind me of that didn't you?" He asked. Josh continued to laugh. "You could of warned me, but nooo. You had to see my reaction"
Josh snorted. "And that reaction was priceless"
Alex playfully sighed and shook his head.

It was 8 PM And Alex was lying in his bed. He wasn't going to sleep, no. He wanted to find more info on Warren. He wanted to at least give Warren more knowledge to what happened to him. Although it could be very sad and heartbreaking, but he figured Warren at least deserved the right to know.
"What was the name of that news paper?" He asked himself as he was racking his mind trying to remember.
"California news... Something? Central...? California Central News! Yeah that's it"
He quickly typed it into the web search, and it popped up.
Apparently this news station no longer exists. They got bankrupt in 1966.
And what Warren said was true. Some people did accuse them of having fake news.
Alex remembered something what the paper. "A black haird boy was the suspect..." He said to himself. Be quickly did another search to see if he could of found anything about it.
He scrolled through the list of pages, until he found one that looked promising. He clicked on it, but all it was, was actually just the newspaper that was in the closet.
"Hm? Nothing new?" Alex asked himself as he scrolled more
While he was on his laptop, he saw his desk lamp flicker. "What the-" he thought to himself. He then heard a loud thump.
Alex carefully put his laptop down, and walked over to his bedroom door. "Who's there?" He asked.
He put his hands on the knob, and slowly opened the door.
He saw Josh walking to his room wareing some weird looking jacket.
"Um? Josh?" Alex asked.
"Huh? Oh hey! Just heading to bed! Ill see you later!" He went into his room and shut the door.
Alex stood there for a few more secounds, then went back into his room. "Sometimes Josh is such a weirdo."
He was about to shut the laptop down, until something caught his eye on the page. It was a picture of a guy with black hair. But it was very blurry. "Hm? What the heck?" He asked himself. "I guess I can ask Warren if he remember any black haird boy" he said.
He set the laptop aside, then he crawled into his bed and feel alseep.
~****~
Alex was sleeping in his bed. It was nice and warm under the covers. He felt himself wake up, and something felt off. But he shook off and tried to go back to sleep.
He heard something whisper in his ears. "I did it-"
He opened his eyes and looked around. He saw nothing. He tired to turn, but realized that he couldn't.
Its as if he was locked in place.
His eyes was focused on the wall in front of him.
Then he saw it.
A shadowy figure came out from the wall, slowly floating towards him.
The figure was pitch dark with a dark black aurora emitting from him
It had a bright white capital letter "D" on it's chest area.
Alex was very sacred. He couldn't move nor speak
The figure floated closer to him..
Alex felt himself jump awake panting hard.
He looked around the room. "Ah shit..." He said to himself as he realized his had a sleep paralysis dream. "I hate those"
He heard birds chirping outside. He realised if he wanted to spend the day with Warren, he will have to get up and go now.
He got out the bed and took his bag. He put the laptop in there and his Nintendo Switch. He figured Warren would probably wanna play, if he could hold the switch that is.
After he was done with all that, he left.
Before he did, he wrote a quick note that he would of been leaving to go to the mall for a walk by himself.
"There. That'll keep them from wondering where I am" He said.
