Chapter 9 The Guy In Black

"Ugh... School meatloaf..." Alex sighed when he walked out of the lunch line. He honestly hates the school lunch. "I wonder what shcool lunch was in the 40s to 50s? Guess i can ask Warren"

He walked over to his lunch table, where Shay, Lionel and Barry where seated.

"Yo, Whats up Al" Barry greated. "Alex! Alex! You gotta see this!"

"Oh no.. Not this again" Shay said rolling her eyes. "Huh? What is it?" Alex asked. "Lionel here thinks he took a picture of a space craft" Barry said chuckling.

"But I did!" Lionel yelled out.

"Either it was a bird, or your camera quailty is that terrible" Shay said.

"Well let's see it then-" Alex said. Lionel took out his phone and showed it to Alex.

Alex looked at the picture.

He couldn't lie. It DID look like a space craft.

"Where did you take this?" Alex asked. "Up the road, a little pass the gas station your brother works at. Near by his friend house, Matt."

"Don't tell me you belive it's a space ship-" Shay said. Alex shrugged. "Just because you can't see certain stuff doesn't mean it ain't there" he said thinking about Warren.

"Oh guys-" Alex said remembering about Kyle. "I invited Kyle over to sit with us" Alex said. "Ooh! Ok!" Shay said with a smile. "That's cool" Barry said.

"But get this... He is friends with Jake-" Alex told them.

"NOoooo...." Shay said a little bit in disbelief. "Wow... No one just becomes friends with Jake Warden...." Barry said surprised.

"Well apparently Kyle did. He did the unexpected. Guess... That was an unexpected friendship." Alex said. "You can say that again" Lionel said.

Alex noticed that Kyle was standing with a lunch tray in his hands not to far from them, looking around. Alex knew that he was looking for the table he and his frineds where sitting at.

"Hey Kyle! We are over here!" Alex called out. Kyle noticed him, gave him a small smile, and walked over to them.

"Hey Kyle!" Shay said. "H-hi" Kyle said shyly. "I heard you're friends with Jake Ward-" Lionel got cut off by Shay elbowing him in the arm. "Sush you-"

Kyle blushed. "Yeah, Jake.. Is pretty cu-.. Cool."

"So, I am Shay, you already met Alex, this over here is Lionel who can't keep his mouth shut-"

"Hey!" Lionel said annoyed.

"And this over here is Barry."

"Hello" Barry said smiling.

Kyle shyly waved to all of them. "You are so shy-" Lionel said, then got elbowed by Shay again.

Kyle blushed a little. "Yeah.. I know. I'm always shy around people I never met before-" He said. "Ah that's fine! Don't worry we won't bite-" Shay said.

"That depends" Lionel said with small smirk. "What are you trying to do... Hit on Kyle or something?" Shay asked looking over at Lionel.

"W-what?! No!...." Lionel said with his face all red.

Kyle giggled a little, what made them all freeze. His giggle sounded so adorable like it could cure the sadness from everything.

"W-what-?" Kyle asked when he saw everyone was starring at him. "Your giggle was... Just so cute-" Shay said. Kyle blushed. "Jake couldn't stop telling me that-" Kyle blushed.
