"Yawn...what a interesting day!" Lucy said. "The sun isn't as bright, but enough to feel good. I got my iced 'blood' and a DVD set of hilariously bad 'B' movies.
"Lincoln said the series was good, Twelve Wild Adventures, plus...Passions of Xarna?" Lucy questioned the last one.
"Oh, sorry, that last one was mine! My bad!" Lynn Sr. said as he stopped and looked at the case, and then quiclky took the dvd away before replacing it with the real 13th dvd. "You're not ready for that kind of movie yet...
"I'm gonna have a talk with Lincoln later about this..." he said gritting his teeth. "Enjoy your solo movie night!"
"Will do, dad...sigh." Lucy said with a small smile.
So with that done, she pops in the first DVD, "It came from the School Canteen!"
The premise was the movie took place inside a familiar school where the titular area was split from the main cafeteria zone, that and it was cursed.
"Ugh, not a good premise! But, let's see what is next." Lucy said as she continued watching.
She was only to stomach the next 45 minutes before ejecting the DVD. "'Take what you need but don't get greedy or you'll explode.'!? That's the most asinine curse I've heard! A real thriller with the same premise would blow this out the water!" Lucy snarled, as she put in the second DVD.
"Forbidden Galaxy or: How I Stopped Worrying And Learned to Love The Monster Within Me," Lucy read the next title of the movie out loud...and 10 minutes in, she adored the Main Lead as he struggled to balance his morals between hero and villain, in a comedy horror, but beautiful way.
"Oh Rocky...you had so much to give, but your Academy rival took it away. And yet he gave it all up to save you! Bravo!" Lucy said, with tears dripping down her face. "A noble sacrifice from a former antagonist...who learned that 'There is no greater sacrifice that to lay down his live for his bretheren'. I wish he could have seen it bore fruit!"
She wiped the tears from her eyes the popped in another DVD. She was gonna make this night one to remember.
