***Okay, so I totally skipped out on the past week of Flumptober XD I do have a oneshot prepared for Flumptober for the 15th.

This oneshot is actually from an AU I developed during my anthropology class yesterday. Some of you who follow me know where this is coming from - an AU based on "The Bachelorette" Tv show! The book I intend to write (eventually) is called "Single, Not Looking".

Here's the cover (essentially, this is what I spent my time on after studying my butt off for chem until twelve in the morning):

Disclaimer: This is my cover/my plot idea. I don't own "The Bachelorette", nor do I own Ninjago, blah, blah, blah. Please do not steal my ideas, etc., etc., etc. You get the point XD

I'll write this AU someday. It's on my list LOL

Also, I'm considering making a plot book of all my future/current AU's. I'd introduce characters and maybe include a snippet from each AU (or maybe link to my Pinterest boards, where you can see some of my photographic storyboards). Then, based on votes/comments for each AU, I would pick an order of which books to write first. Any interest in this?

Okay, here you go: A oneshot/first chapter scenario for "Single, Not Looking".***

***(Nya's POV)***

I sigh from the backseat of the taxicab. "Kai Smith, all I want to do is go to my new digs in Ninjago City and settle in. I got off my plane four hours ago, and then you insisted that you treat me to a day out – and that 'day out' did not include lunch, mind you." I glance down at my poor empty stomach.

My brother laughs. "Gosh, you're so whiney. Most girls would be happy if their brother took them out to get their hair and nails done."

"And makeup," I grumble, relaxing against the seat. "Listen, Kai, I'm really appreciative of this and all, but you know I've never been into cosmetics. Couldn't you have taken me out to a museum? A high-stakes adventure experience, like sky-diving?" A burger joint?

He scoffs. "I think your first day living in Ninjago City deserves more celebration than that."

Ah, yes. My first day living in Ninjago City. Whoopee.

I should honestly be more excited. In two weeks, I'll start work here at my dream job – a mechanics' shop. I know, I know, rather anticlimactic, right? But my old town of Ignacia had something against women doing 'a man's work'. I got tired of working at a bridal shop there – I hate dresses – and decided maybe I needed a change of scenery. Since my brother already lives in Ninjago City, it just made sense for me to come here, too. The end.

"Pfft," he chuckles. "Don't look so pouty. When was the last time you smiled for the world to see, huh?"

He and I both know that I don't smile all too often. I haven't been really and truly happy in three years – the three years since I graduated high school.
