Dear Chen,

Am I your doctor now? Haha :)

But anyways, I did do the extra research which you assigned me to do, and I hope that it will be of some help.

The easiest way to deal with stress is to remove yourself from that certain situation. Though, of course, doing so is not always possible.

So, the next thing to do is to try to prioritize only a few truly important things and let the rest slide.

For example, when answering a test, skip to the questions which have the most points, then go back to the less valuable numbers.

Though in the end, all you have to do to avoid stress is to change your view point on it, or to think positively.

You research, too,

Yoojin.

Dear Yoojin-ah,

You still did not explain to me how to deal with depression, so I did some work myself. Now you never have to think that I'm lazy, alright?

First off, depression is a mood disorder which causes feelings such as hopelessness, helplessness, and worthlessness.

One probably finds that he is depressed if he has difficulty concentrating, has difficulty sleeping, or if suicide is a recurring thought.

But what causes depression, exactly? Some cases originate from past abuse, personal conflicts, death or loss, medications, and other reasons.

Apparently, the kind of depression treatment that is best for you depends on the type of depression that you have.

Some doctors may prescribe psychotherapy, or "talk therapy", while others may prescribe antidepressants. Just ask your doctor.

I am never changing my course to medicine,

Chen.
