Chapter 1

The Avengers

" Y/n, dinner's ready! " The 10 year old girl heard and jumped out of her bed, running downstairs. " Coming, mum! "

Shw ran down the wooden stairs that creaked with every step she took. " Ah! There you are. "

" What are we having, dad? " She asks, pecking his cheek and jumping on his lap.

Kevin chuckled, tickling the girl a little before thanking his wife, Sara for the dinner. " We're having your favorite. You know, it took a lot to convince your mum to make (f/f) Favorite Food. "

" Open up, little buddy!" He says and
Y/n giggled, opening her mouth and taking a bite of the blissful food.

As they did dinner, Y/n couldn't help but feel there was something off. She could feel another presence but couldn't point it.

" I'm done. I'll go to sleep. Night, mum,
dad. " Y/n says and jumps off her father's lap.

" Hey! Just because you have powers, doesn't mean you're grown up. Sure you know how to control yourself but stop messing around and head to bed. " Her mother points and Y/n mocked a salute.

" Sure, mother. " She teased and ran upstairs. As she held the door knob, she knew someone was inside. She took a deep breath and stepped in, closing it as quick as a light.

" What do you want? " She mumbled, leaning against it and found herself on a gunpoint.

" Wait, seriously? A kid? " The gun lowers and Y/n switched on the light, finding two people in her room. She examined them and smirked. " SHIELD. I was wondering when I'd have the honour of visit. What do you want? "

" Y/n L/n. I'm Nick Fury. Head of SHIELD and this is Agent Maria Hill. We've heard you have powers. " Fury says and Y/n tilted her head.

" Where'd you hear that from? " She asks and Fury rolled his eyes. " We have a problem. The world is in danger. And we need your help. You in or not? Rest of the things, we'll explain on the way. "

Y/n looked through his head nodded.
" No need to explain. Okay, wait. There is. Explain my parents. They're downstairs. "
Y/n opened the door and stepped aside. Maria Hill rolled her eyes.

" She's 10. " She comments and Y/n squints her eyes at Hill, who raised an eyebrow. " We need all the help we can. Follow me. " Fury says and they walk downstairs.

" Three, two, one. "

Just as she said one, she could hear her mother freak out and Kevin clicking his gun. After the silence, there was an angry conversation for a good 10 minutes and than they talked silently. Y/n smirked and grabbed her phone she created, and pushed it in the backpocket.

" Kid, suit up. " Maria Hill says and Y/n shook her head. " Sorry. Like you guys, I don't have suit . "

Maria rolls her eyes and motioned her to follow, which she did and reached downstairs, immediately wrapped in hugs.

" I swear Fury, if she returns even with a scratch-"

" Sara, she'll be fine if he's reassuring us. " Kevin butts in and Y/n winked at him. She waved at her parents before jumping in the backseat of the black car and looked out of the window.

" You know what happened. How? " Fury looks through the rear view mirror and Y/n smirked. " I looked through your mind. " She shrugged and Fury sent a death glare towards her.

" I saved you five minutes. " Y/n pointed and he rolled his eyes. " For a 10 year old, you've got some attitude. " Hill says and Y/n bowed dramatically. " Why thank you! "
