Chapter 19

Avengers : The Final Battle

Down in the city...

Tony blasted off another Chitauri that once again, appeared down on the earth. He couldn't get in the space ship, he knew Peter was panicking, he knew he was worried as hell but he had to save people too.

Too lost in thoughts, he noticed another Chitauri had hit him and he went flying back, landing into a wall. As the Chitauri raised it's pinkish blast to shoot at Tony, the familiar shield was hit the Chitauri right in between, cutting it in half.

" You're losing your concentration, Stark? " Steve Rogers, aka Captain America appeared, giving Tony a hand. He sighed in relief, standing up.

" Y/n's on that ship. " Steve went pale and looked up at the ship, which had been hovering and doing nothing else.

Peter grunted as he jumped on another wall. He had never thought he'd face these aliens. He had only watched them in TV when he was nine.

As he landed with a front flip, he webbed one of them and smashed it into other.
Feeling a hard blast, he went flying back but he hovered in the air, the familiar red smoke around him.

" You okay? " The girl asked, her sokovian accent thick. Peter grinned and nodded.

" Aren't you the witch? What was the name again? "

" You're not flirting with my sister, are you? " Came a guy out of nowhere and Peter chuckled nervously. " I have a girlfriend. I was only asking her
name. "

" Wanda Maximoff. This is Pietro. " Peter shot a web and kicked one Chitauri out of the way.
" Yup, nice to meet you. We were really lacking help. "

" If you people are done with meet and greet, " Black Window roundhouse kicked one and smashed it's skull,
" Would do some better for us. "

" Y/n's on that ship. " Peter mumbled, looking up. He could hear his heartbeat getting louder. Scared of the outcomes.

As everyone was busy fighting Chitauri and taking everyone to safety down in the city, Y/n and Loki had almost finished all the Chitauri on the ship.

Y/n burned one, turned another one into a piece of garbage and crushed two by just folding her fists. She went for the big alien, ready to kick him but to be only grabbed by her leg.

He threw her like she was a rag doll and Y/n smashed into a wall with a grunt and fell down. " You think that was funny? " Loki yelled and Y/n shook her head, standing up.

" It wasn't. I just needed it. " She felt herself float in the air, fire igniting around her and all she could see was red again, but this time, something was different. She could understand herself, she was in her senses and she knew who to destroy.

" Splendid! " Loki exclaimed, pulling out some wires out of the Chitauri he was fighting with his daggers. With one gust of heat, all the Chitauri had melted on the floor like liquid.

Y/n landed on the ground, glaring at the purple alien, who slowly made his way towards the control. " One move, and I press this. The whole city turns to
dust, "
( lol, see what I did there? ;))

Y/n's fire instantly wore off and she stood there in her suit, burning. She shared a brief look with Loki, who seemed to be frozen too. Although he didn't care about the people living, he didn't want to accept it but he was attached to the girl who was frozen by the news.

" Don't, " She says, raising a finger motioning him to stop. Her breath was heavy, and she felt like everything was on her shoulders. She could feel the weight on her shoulders, what felt like responsibility.
