Chapter 9

CA : Civil War

The week passed without any events, if you don't count the amount of flirting Y/n did with Peter just to see him blush furiously. She found it cute and adorable but she couldn't ignore the fluttering in her stomach either.

She'd get the giddy and warm feeling when he'd make an eye contact, even if it was only for a mere second or when she'd catch him staring.

" Hey, kid! We're on a mission! " Tony says and Y/n frowned. " Are we? What's it this time? " She asks and Tony settled beside her.

" We're supposed to hand over Steve, Bucky and Sam over to the Government of States within 36 hours and we're outnumbered. We need you on the team, and that kid you were talking about, I'm gonna go get him. " Tony says and Y/n frowned.

" Over to the Government of State? Why? Who's Bucky? " Y/n asks and Tony swiped on his phone and Y/n got the link.

" Get ready. You're leaving for Germany in an hour and I'll bring the kid to Happy. " He says and Y/n nodded. She decided to just grab her clothes from the Tower and stuffed them in a bag, walking out of the tower and in the jet.

" Hey, Nat! " Y/n grins. Natasha smiles at the teen and Vision appears too, along with Rhodey. They left for Germany and the ride was silent.

Y/n read through the links Tony sent her and she was surprised realising how much of the news she has missed since past few days.

Steve was practically a war criminal now and Y/n couldn't believe it. She widened her eyes and cursed. " Shit! "

" What? " Rhodey asks. " I was supposed to meet someone for a project in an hour! " She mumbled, texting Peter a sorry.

" Who's the someone? Guy? " Natasha says and Y/n smirked. " A really hot one at that. "
Natasha chuckles and Rhodey shook his head the two.

Hey, Pete. Sorry, I can't make it today. Can we do it later?

Yeah, sure. I was about to tell you the same. I have to run some drills with May.

Y/n didn't realise she was smiling for no reason until she saw her reflection in the mirror. She shook her head and placed her phone back.

As they reached, they had directly taken to a Hotel to stay a night after.
Y/n placed her bag and fell on the bed, just to hear a knock and Natasha peeked in.

" Suit up. We'll be in the lobby in fifteen minutes. " She says and Y/n hummed. She wondered why she wasn't told any of this before hand but shrigged it away and got freshed.

Walking down the lobby, she found everyone already there. She grinned at them, who looked at her confused.
" Where's your suit? " Rhodey asks and Y/n smiled, pressing her diamond.

" Tony. " Rhodey chuckles exasperatedly.

" He's quite interested in nano tech you know. So I think he's gonna make a few suits out of it, too. " They walked out of the hotel to the airport, where Tony was already there and Rhodey was helping him evacuate it.

" Alright. When I tell you to stop the kid, you stop him and stay low yourself. " He warns Y/n, who only nods this time, seeing as he was quite serious about it. She didn't want to fight. It was her family. And she felt like it was breaking apart.
