Harry's POV

Well. My suspicions were correct. I did, in fact, enjoy kissing Liv more than anyone I've ever kissed, and there's been quite the few. But whatever, I wasn't thinking straight. I wasn't thinking at all. I don't think, that's the problem. Then I got mad, and she calmed me down. She always does.

But whatever. She's Liv. My best friend, nothing more nothing less. Definitely nothing less. I can't tell her where I was today though, bestfriends or not. She'd freak or cry or be happy or get mad, what? She's a woman isn't she!?

And now her brothers coming back? I've never met Dean, if I had I would've beaten his ass to a pulp for hurting Liv... And even her battleaxe mother. I think her mother hates me because she thinks I'm like Dean, even though I'm nothing like the druggie. I've told myself to give him a chance, maybe he's different but then again, do thugs ever change? Cos that's what he was, a thug.

I nearly lost myself when Liv started crying. I've never seen her cry so bad, not even when she lost her stupid goldfish... Although that was my fault. Turns out, if you poke goldfish, the little bastards can die. Down the drain with Nemo then.

"Harry? Is that you?" I heard my mum call from Christ knows where.

"Who else would it be?" I said sarcastically, but in a nice way because... It is my mum after all.

"Oh shut up you sarcastic git!" She laughed. Her small frame came around the kitchen corner with a laundry basket on her hip. She smiled and looked at me in a way that made me really uncomfortable.

"Eh, mum? What's with the staring." God I hate people staring more than I hate anything else, with a possible exception of this Dean lad.

"Sorry babe. I'm just so proud of you, you know that." She smiled brightly. Regardless of her mood, mum always looks happy.

"Good lord mum, curb the soppyness." I chuckled giving her a small kiss on the cheek. "Liv call?" I asked.

"She did but, I told her you were out and I didn't know where. Where were you anywa-"

"Gotta go to Livs, love ya!" I called before she started asking questions.

I jogged up the street to Livs two story house and knocked on the shitty door that creaked louder than a siren when opened. And it did just that when Livs mum opened it with that same disappointed look she has every time she sees me.

"Good evening Harry." She forced a smile.

"Good evening Mrs Price, is Liv here?" I asked, shuffling from one foot to other and waiting for my bubbly blonde friend to some bounding down the stairs.

"Actually Harry, Olivia" she stressed her daughters 'real name' "Has gone out for dinner with some boy called Avery Harte." She smirked as if knowing how I'd react.

Without another word spoken, I turned on my heel and trudged the hell away from those goddamn Price's.

Olivia's POV

"So, I'm your girlfriend now." I giggled as we walked hand in hand down the street.

"I guess you are." Avery smiled back, his ocean blue eyes sparkling.

"That was quick." I laughed but Avery didn't join me. "Did I say something?"

"No, just. It is quick and I was worried that'd be a problem." He frowned.

I'll admit, I wasn't exactly prepared and he kinda sprung it on me.

"How about, we just see how it goes before we label anything, yeah?" I said sweetly and he nodded eagerly.

"I like that idea." He half smiled.

Avery and I just walked around after that, discussing literature and good books we've read recently. It was nice. But now, we're on our way to his house.

"Here we are." He smiled and stopped the engine. We stopped at a huge house, with large windows and white walls.

"Wow." I breathed and he led me inside. I was greeted with three kids running at Avery and hugging his legs.

"Avery's home!!" They shouted and giggled. "And he has a girl mom!" They screamed.

"Olivia, meet Anastasia, Alex and Adrianne. My sisters." He sighed, presenting the almost identical girls to me.

"Hi girls! Wow you're all so pretty!" Is bent down and they all blushed and giggled.

"I like her." The girl with darker hair than the other two nodded and Avery chuckled.

"Me too Adrianne." He winked at me.

And with that, a stunningly beautiful woman walked in with an apron tied around her waist. She was middle aged with kind warm brown eyes and olive skin. Her hair was curly and she was wearing a simple black dress.

"What's all this talk about a girl-" she gasped when she saw me "oh my word, Avery Harte how on earth did you find such a beautiful young lady?" She smiled and gave me a small hug. "Hello dear, I'm Anita. Avery's mother."

"Lovely to meet you, I'm Olivia Price. Avery's..." I paused unsure if what exactly I was at this moment.

"Guest?" She helped me along and I nodded, giving her thankful eyes.

"Thank you for having me!" I called back to Averys mum as he took me to his car. "Avery, your family are so lovely!" I smiled as the engine roared.

"They're alright." We drove in a comfortable silence as I hummed along to my all time favorite song, Look After You by The Fray.

"Well, you're home safe and sound and it's only nine thirty!" He smiled and leaned over to kiss my cheek. I shocked myself with the thought I conjured, I was relived with the lack of contact.

"See you later Avery." I waved and he returned it.

Mum was working since eight so I couldn't tell her all the news which was annoying but nothing new. I made my way across the street when I heard a voice behind me followed by a scuffling noise.

"Have fun, did we?"
