[lukes POV]
My teacher kept us late telling us our homework so I got out about 3 minutes late. As Im walking to the cafateria all i hear is people yelling and screaming.Then I see Taylor run past me crying. So I ran into the cafateria to see what was going on.
"Oh hey Luke. Just was talking to your friend Tay. Shes kind of a bitch to be honest."
i could tell what was going on and I was about to explode with anger. How could kids be so rude to her. all i said was the first thing that came to my mind at the moment.
"Maddy, youre a jealous bitch, and because you can't have what me and Taylor have you have to ruin her life. You disgust me." I say as i runoff to go find Taylor.
"LUKE waittttttt!" I hear her yell.
I heard crying in the girls bathroom so i ran in not even caring that guys cant be in there.
"TAY. TAYLOR. Answer me please babe."
I push the door open to see her all curled up in a ball, head in her lap, crying. I looked down and saw her bloody wrists. I just sat down and hugged her. both of us in shock over what happened.
After a while of just sitting there we cleaned her up and cut the rest of school and went to my house.
"Tay." I say softly.
"I'm sorry luke. I'm sorry." she said as she started to cry some more.
"Sorry for what? hey hey hey. Taylor Amanda Green, you have nothing to be sorry for. It wasnt your fault. It was Maddy's. Shes just jealous of us and what we have."
"What do we have Luke?" she says, looking up, with a little bit of hope in her eyes.
"Well, Tay, i wanted it to be special, when I asked you this, I imagined it to be bigger. But now is a perfect time, Taylor, will you go out with me?" I said nervously
"Yes, of course i will Luke." i leaned in to hug him.
"Oh and Taylor, you are none of the things that Maddy said. You are beautiful and strong. I am crushed that you harm yourself but you are beautiful no matter what you look like. I love every cut on your wrist just as much as I love-" Luke stopped.
We both looked up.
Fuck. was i about to confess my love to her. shit
"Just as much as I love... Pizza."
"Luke, youre such a dork" She said as she laughed and got out of the car and hugged Luke and gave him a small kiss on his cheak.
"Oh and luke, I love pizza too." She said as she winked and walked inside. butterflies filling my stomach.
