Last night was amazing yet awful at the same time. I loved how Luke was there for me and telling me that it would be okay, but I also made myself very venerable. But I know that I can trust Luke. Can't I?
My mom was taking me to get our nails done because we haven't gotten them done In a while.
"Hey Tay." My mom says, breaking the silence.
"Yeah?" I asked
"I know I haven't been the best mother for you lately and I'm sorry. I'm doing the best I can baby. I love you always."
"It's okay mom I know it's hard and you're trying. But I'm not too sad that we moved anymore to be honest."
"Oh yeah why?" She asks
"Well, there's this guy, Luke, we've been going on a few dates and he's really help me forget about our past."
"A boy?" My mom smirks
"Well yeah. Don't make it a big deal please" I half beg half tell her.
"I'm not. I would like to meet him though. Could he come over tomorrow night for dinner?"
"Yeah I'll ask hang on."
I get my phone out and text Luke.
To Lukeeyy: hey, my mom was wondering if you wanted to come over for dinner tomorrow?
From Lukeeyy: sounds wonderful babe(:
"He said he can go."
"Great! Can't wait to meet him"
"Mom please don't scare him."
"No promises." She says and we both laugh.
