Chapter 10

[lukes POV]
So I just met Taylors mom last night and I think things are going great for us. The only problem is the fact that we are still just friends. I want more. I want us to be together. And I knew just how to do it.

To Tay: hey babe. I'm picking you up in 1 hour. Be ready(:

From tay: okay where are we going?

To Tay: you'll see(;

I was nervous, but excited. It had been an hour and it was time to go get her.

"Hey Tay" I say as a kiss her cheek

"Where are we going Luke" she laughs

"A place" I say cheekily

"Your not planning to kidnap and kill me are you?" She laughs

"No, not to night darling"

We arrive at the park just by my house and it's getting dark. The lights I asked my bandmates to set up were strung all around each tree, leaving just the perfect amount of light to set the tone of how this night should go.

I helped Taylor out of the car and we walked along a path to a picnic table. I pulled out my guitar and started singing little things by one direction.

I know you never loved the crinkles by your eyes

When you smile you've never loved your stomach or your thighs

The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine but I love them endlessly

I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth

At this point in the song I looked at Taylor and she was on the edge of tears. I could tell, that in this moment, she forgot about all of her bad memories, and was finally, happy.

I stopped playing and walked towards her and helped her up.
"Taylor Amanda Green, will you do me the honors of being my girlfriend?"

"Yes. Of course Luke. Yes."

Those were the only words that I needed to hear that night that made me happy for the rest of my life.
