~~CLAY'S POV~~

Yawning, Clay closed his computer as he listened to the slow and steady beat of George's heart. Silently humming a song, Clay felt relieved.

He loved the boy to pieces. He would die for them. If it came to it. He would even...let them be happy with someone else. His happiness was Clay's, and that's what mattered.

Well, he did literally feel happy when George was happy with the soul bond. So Clay would do most things so the other could be happy.

Hugging the still asleep boy in his arms, Clay sighed in relief.

But for now, he made George happy so it was best for Clay to stay with the boy. Like he would leave him though, George brought him into the light and he wanted to stay there with the boy in his arms.

Hearing the shorter boy grumble something, he felt George move around to squirm out of Clay's grip.

" I'm going to get something to eat," George mumbled as he stood up from the bed and walked out.

Clay snorted as he walked out behind George groggily.

Boiling some water up, George flopped onto the living room couch.

" You are really going to eat ramen again? You know it's unhealthy for you right?" Clay lightly said as he chuckled when George responded with a hissing sound.

As the boiler signaled it was done with a shrill beeping sound a knock could be heard on the door.

It was light and silent at first but grew a bit louder every time a response wasn't given.

George scoffed as he eventually got up to answer the door.

Looking up to see who was there, Clay couldn't see the person but saw the utter shock and fear that appeared on George's face.

Quickly joining the boy by the door he found nothing of the unusual with the person.

It was a pretty redhead with sky blue eyes. She was as tall as George and had short curly hair that was cut into a bob.

She wore a black and white dress with bluestocking. She smiled.

" Hello there! I was just checking on how you were doing George!" The girl said with a smirk in a heavy french accent, her tone holding malicious intent.

George shrank back as the redhead leaned towards him.

" After all, I'm one of your good friends,"
