~~CLAY'S POV~~
Sitting down at one of the tables, Noah followed suit of Clay.
"So how have things been?" The boy says, trying to start a conversation. Ordering some coffee for both of them, Clay turned his attention back to Noah.
"Oh, you know...the usual. But at least things are starting to get better"
"Really? How so?" Noah muses as he tilts his head at the blonde.
"Well after I found my soulmate...things have been way more smooth sailing. I haven't cut off contact with my mother and father yet, but I haven't heard anything from them. So I'm assuming the best" He replies, looking around the small shop silently.
"Oh? Who's the lucky person to be your soulmate?"
Clay chuckles lightly, dragging his hand through his hair.
"I think I'm the lucky person...but his name is George Davidson. He was the one with me earlier" Clay says, a faraway look in his eyes as Noah smiled.
"Oh, that cutie! You're definitely the lucky person then" Noah chuckles, the barista serving the two their coffee.
"Yeah..."
The two were dipped back into silence, only the light banter of customers and clattering of cups could be heard for a long while.
"Then it seems I was interrupting something?" Noah thought out loud.
"Not really...George was taking out the red-head so they could have a reunion of some sorts..."
The boy across the table raises an eyebrow, his golden eyes narrowing.
"It's probably not just me...but this chick seems like she'll get between you and that brunet's relationship. I might be a fool but I saw how that girl looked at George. Like he was some sort of prey" Noah mutters as he takes a sip from his coffee.
"What? There's nothing wrong...well I don't think it is. I don't know that much about her and George's past relationship, but they seemed really close" Dream murmured softly in thought.
Nothing seemed off to him...they conversed fine. The only thing he felt off was with how...touchy Darby could get with George. Often touching his soulmate and holding his hand. But Clay had simply brushed it off.
"Mhm, sure, seems like you're as dense as before"
Clay shrugs, looking out one of the large windows.
"Well...I think we've been cooped up enough. Wanna take a walk and continue this conversation then?" Noah offers. Clay sighed before nodding.
Paying for their coffee, the two left the shop quickly.
