~~GEORGE'S POV~~

" You alive in there short stuff?" Nick said as he lightly knocked on George's head.

" Definitely not," Goerge murmured as he closed his locker door and walked with the other male.

" But I thought you were living happily ever after with your prince charming," Nick mocked as George dug his heel into the other boy's foot.

Nick whimpered before returning a punch in the arm for George.

The princess was living happily for now. But that dragon would always come along.

George sighed as he waved goodbye to Nick, lightly opening up a familiar wooden door.

Flicking on the lights the boy lightly smiled as he dropped his backpack at an easel, pulling a stool up to one of the many windows.

Leaning on the window sill the brunet closing his eyes. George decided to just listen for once.

He hadn't been in the art classroom for a while now. It felt off, so it was good to soak in the atmosphere once again.

Hearing the door open and close, George relaxed a bit more knowing who the person was.

" What are you doing?" Clay said as he leaned on George's head.

George responded with a hum making Clay mutter something under his breath.

The two were happy to stay like this. Just the two of them and the silence, it was nice to have it once in a while.

" How do you....feel about Darby?" Clay said as he watched the trees wave in the wind.

" Nothing," the brunet responded in indifference.

" Aren't you at least...I don't know...."

" Scared? Angry? I'm not. Darby said to leave it in the past so I'm doing what she said," George finished the other boy's sentence as he sighed.

Clay stopped leaning on the boy to ruffle his hair, a low laugh coming from him.

" Just try to take care of yourself, ok Georgie?" The tall blond said as George got up from the stool.

" I'll try, but that's all," The boy gave Clay a small smile.
