Levi felt lucky. Lucky to be with someone as incredible as Eren. Every aspect of their lives together had been on the incline since Levi started therapy. His mind could finally settle with the medication he was prescribed and Eren was as doting as ever, ensuring he took good care of his little raven.

Eren seemed immensely happier as well. Elated to see Levi healthier and able to fully love the other. They went on more dates, saw their friends more often, and visited Eren's mother all without Levi experiencing the major side effects of his schizophrenia. He still had bad days, terrible days even. But they were few and far between.

And for once in his life, Levi was beginning to feel...normal.

"How are you enjoying your new life?"

Levi snapped out of his trance, coming back to reality. He sat across from Connie and Sasha, Eren by his side--like always. Sasha was pregnant now, her belly looking like it could burst. Her glass was filled with water as everyone else sipped on champagne.

Eren had convinced Connie to invest in the little cottage in Dalesway and Connie invited the couple out to celebrate.

"It's been great."

Eren's arm was warm resting on Levi's back.

"I'm making enough money and able to spend time with Levi."

Eren's eyes flicked to Levi, adoration dilating his pupils. Levi wished he could stare at that expression for all eternity.

"And how are you doing, Levi?"

Sasha's eyes were staring at him with cautious interest as she asked.

When Mikasa had heard the news that Levi was attending therapy for schizophrenia, she wasted no time in spreading the news to everyone Eren and her knew, hoping to put a sour taste in everyone's mouths when they thought of Levi. But everyone showered him with encouragement, hoping his well-being would improve.

"Good," Levi said genuinely, no longer feeling the need to lie about his feelings to anyone. Everyone had shown him, time and time again, that they cared.

And he had Eren to thank for everything. He had taken on so much to help Levi through his mental journey, and Levi would spend the rest of his life trying to repay him.

"Well with Eren's brilliant idea of turning this dump into an Airbnb, you're both going to be fucking ecstatic once we start booking the place," Connie cheered as he held up his champagne glass.

Levi liked Connie's energy, he was always an optimist to change. Eren seemed trusting of Connie because of his boisterous nature as well. Levi knew Eren confided in Connie over the last few months as well, not wanting to add more stress to him as he started therapy. And he was thankful of Connie for that.

"I'll cheers to that," Eren chuckled before downing the rest of his champagne.

And Levi was happy to see Eren carefree again. Among friends and family, he finally felt as if they could act like a normal couple.

Eren's lips were on Levi's neck before he could fully sit on the bed. "You look so fucking sexy," he mumbled against his chin. Levi tilted his head, moaning as Eren sucked on his skin.

Levi attempted to loosen his tie, wanting to rid himself of every layer that separated him and Eren. The brunet took over when he noticed Levi struggling, ripping away the fabric once it was loose enough.
