The next day, San gets to class and takes a seat next to Wooyoung. "Good morning." He tells him and gives him a small smile."Good morning." Wooyoung mumbles and looks down at his notebook.
'Why did you change so much, Woo?' San thinks to himself.
He knows that people change when they get older, but what made him change this much? Why does he now pretend he doesn't know him and why is he so rude to him? San looks at him for a few seconds and frowns before looking away. He then picks his backpack up and starts taking out the things he needs for class.
"I see you've been coming to class lately, Wooyoung." The teacher tells him. "I really thought I wouldn't see you for the rest of the school year. Make sure to do all your work from now on or you'll fail this class."
'Was it necessary to say it in front of the whole class?' San thinks to himself and takes his textbook out.
"Class, open your textbook to page 235." The teacher tells them. San turns to Wooyoung and sees his desk is empty.
"Did you not bring your textbook?" San whispers.
Wooyoung just ignores him and San sees the teacher walking their way, so he quickly puts his textbook on Wooyoung's desk.
"What are you doing?" Wooyoung is about to put the textbook back on San's desk, but is stopped when he sees the teacher in front of him.
"Oh, you actually brought your textbook today." The teacher tells him, then turns to San. "Did you not bring it, San?"
"I'm sorry, I forgot it." San apologizes. "I was studying really hard yesterday and forgot it at home."
"Oh really? That's okay then. Just make sure to bring it tomorrow. Wooyoung, share your textbook with him." The teacher tells him and he just nods.
"Why did you do that?" Wooyoung asks San as soon as the teacher leaves.
"Because you're clearly already on the teacher's bad side. Do you want him to hate you even more? Stop being so irresponsible and do your work. I won't always be there to help you."
"Who said I needed your help?" Wooyoung rolls his eyes and puts the textbook back on San's desk. "Just leave me alone."

After school, San rushes out of school and sees Yunho waiting for him. "Hey Yunho!" He smiles at him and gives him a small hug, but his smile fades when he sees Yunho crying. "Yunho, what's wrong?" San takes his hand and pulls him aside since people were looking at him weirdly. "Yunho?"
Yunho sits down on a nearby bench and sighs as he looks down. "I broke up with Mingi."
"Aww, why?" San frowns. "You two seemed happy together.
"We'd argue a lot lately."
"Really? It seemed like you two were happy."
"Well, we clearly weren't." Yunho rolls his eyes.
"Why does it seem like everyone's getting mad at me these days? What am I doing so wrong?"
"You have to try thinking about other people's feelings, San. Not just yourself." Yunho wipes his tears away.
"What are you talking about?" San asks, confused. "I don't just think of myself. I've always tried to be there for you when you need me, Yunho. Why are you being like this?"
"It's been years, but you still don't get it, do you?"
"Get what?"
"The reason I've barely gone out with anyone. And the reason why I end up breaking up with my boyfriends."
"Is it because you stop liking them after a while?" San asks him. "It's okay. Sometimes feelings change easily."
"It's not that- never mind."
"I'm not sure why you're mad at me, but I'm sorry." San takes Yunho's hand. "To make up for it, let's go eat at my house."
"I-I can't." Yunho tries pulling his hand away from his, but San holds it tightly.
"Come on, my mom asked me to invite you over one of these days. She hasn't seen you in a while." San smiles at him. "Let's go?"
"Okay." Yunho nods and smiles back at him.
