Part 5- Negotiation

Tracer's P.O.V

I woke up to see that I was just inches away from Chance's face. I felt an urge to push my lips against his but what if he had a girlfriend? What if he woke up and saw? Come on Lena, a little kiss never hurt anybody. At this thought I pressed my lips on his but I felt him...kiss back.

I pull back away immediately in shock. He gives me a suprised smile before saying, "Um, Morning?" I could feel my face burning from embarrassment. I get out of bed and face away from him. "I'm so sorry, I just don't know what went over me, please forgive me" I plead to him. He gets out of bed and starts hushing me. "Whoa calm down, Tracer it's fine"

Chance's P.O.V
After we both agreed to put aside what just happened Tracer said it was time for breakfast. "Well I hope you enjoy your breakfast" I say to her as she opens the cell door with her key. "Would you like to come have morning tea with me and the other Overwatch Heros?" she askes. I hesitated a bit before nodding my head and walking out of my cell with Tracer. "Are you sure about all of this?" I ask "From yesterday I don't feel like I'm really welcomed here and it might be because I'm an Talon operative." Tracer gave me an upset look before saying "I thought you said you would change!" The doors to the cafeteria opened as we walked though. "I didn't say any such thing, I still follow Talons orders". The room fell completely silent and everyone was starring at us. Well, mostly me but it didn't help that I had a slightly upset Tracer next to me.

"C'mon luv lets just sit down over here." she grabbed my hand and pulled me over to a table in the far corner of the room away from everyone else. This didn't feel right at all. All around me there were Elite heros of Overwatch staring at me and infront of me was my forbidden crush which was also an Overwatch Hero.

"I'll get us some food, just stay here and I'll be right back," and with that she blinked over to where all of the food was being served. I feel a hand grab me and turn me around but I knew better not to retaliate. "Hm, so he's the one that has this supposed 'crush' on miss Oxton." Jeez how many people know about this I thought to myself. "Yes Ana, but try to keep it quiet" Mercy said to her. What looks to be a robotic ninja walks up beside Mercy "Do I have to keep quiet about it Angela?" he says to her. "Now that you know Genji, you must also keep this a secret" she replies.

Tracer's P.OV
I look over to the table that Chance and I were sitting at and see that Ana, Genji and Angela were all standing around him. I quickly start jogging back to our table and stand inbetween Chance and the others. "Whats going on?" I ask. "We are just talking about how Chance is in love with you." Genji said followed by a slap across the back of his head by Angela. I blushed at bit at his lie but I managed to keep it hidden.

"Chance, would you put aside your differences and join Overwatch if you had the um...chance" said Ana. He paused for a bit before looking at me for a solid minute. "Yes" he finally answered. "Very well, I'll go get everything ready then" said Ana before walking off and out of the cafeteria. Angela smiled at us and she walked off followed closely by Genji.

"Wow its been an eventful morning hasn't it luv." I say to Chance. "Looks like your becoming a full time member of Overwatch" He laughs and says "Yeah looks like it". I have a huge smile on my face and I was about to say something before he cut me off. "About what um... Genji said, I'm sorry that I didn't get to tell you myself. Its just that I've only known you for a few days and your so amazing and I just thought it wouldn't turn out the way I wanted it to because its such a sudden and random thing, sorry.

OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH. HE LIKES ME! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! My thoughts start screaming in my head. After a full minute of shock and trying to think of something to say I finally speak up. I am cut off again but this time I'm cut off by Commander Jack. "Follow me Chance" he says in a slightly annoyed voice. Ana was standing behind him smiling at me. I guess she must have persuaded Jack to give him a chance. Chance stands up and follows Jack and Ana leaving me sitting by myself. "I'll come get you when your done!" I shout at them as they walk away.
