"𝑪𝑨𝑵'𝑻 𝑺𝑨𝒀 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑨𝑴𝑬."
"HERMIONE Jean Granger." Y/n smiled, bringing the brunette into a warm embrace.
"Did you hear?" She immediately whispered, pulling Y/n away from the crowd by her arm, sliding it into her own. "About the White Spear?"
"The White Spear? No, I haven't; the last thing I heard about her was that she went on to live a secret life, did she not?" Y/n asked. During the summer, she tried to distance herself as much as she could from the newspapers, because she knew the headlines would scream her name.
"She was seen at Hogwarts talking to Dumbledore. Apparently, she has three adopted kids and they're attending Hogwarts this year." Hermione explained. Y/n couldn't tell if Hermione was excited or scared.
Y/n was quite happy. Who cares about the Slytherdor when Rowena Rudolph's kids were attending Hogwarts? She was also very excited thinking of the possibility of seeing Rowena in person.
Rowena Rudolph, also known as the "White Spear," was quite famous in the wizarding world. One of her ancestors was Rowena Ravenclaw, one of Hogwart's founders. There were many stories about Rowena. Most of them she never paid attention to, so they were never confirmed. She had gone into hiding one day and was never seen again.
"Y/n, you know that people say she's somehow connected to the Slytherdor right? Or that she knows much about it." Hermione realized as they walked past a broom shop.
"Exactly, Hermione. "People say." She probably doesn't even know much, she's been in hiding."
"But the Slytherdor myth has been around for centuries-"
"Still, I bet that's the last thing on her mind nowadays." Y/n sighed, feeling quite bad for Rowena. These rumors are probably what caused her to go into hiding.
"Have you seen the Weasleys? Or Harry?" Y/n asked, looking around.
"Harry? He's with you guys?" Hermione asked.
"It's a long story, but he hasn't died." Y/n scoffed; Harry dying was the first conclusion they had jumped to when Harry wasn't answering their letters.
"Do you ever think that Harry fancies you?" Hermione said like she was thinking out loud.
Y/n was taken back by her words, "'Course not; we're just friends. Why? Do you think so?"
"Well, for one, he's always talking about you. Two, he looks at you like you're a painted sculpture in a museum. And three, he's always trying to find a way to get closer to you or touch you. Have you never noticed?" Hermione rambled, catching Y/n's full attention.
"No, I haven't. But that- it doesn't prove that he fancies me." She hits the back of Hermione's head. "You and Ron are just playing matchmaker."
Hermione sighed, slightly throwing her head back. "You'll realize it someday, Y/n, and if you're too late, I will say that I told you so."
