Y/N uncomfortably laughed, "Adira? I don't have a middle name."

"Oh right," Rowena said, clearly looking uncomfortable. Unfortunately, for her, Y/n was curious.

"Where did you get Adira from?" She asked, putting her arms on the table.

"It's a long story, and we don't have much time to talk today, unfortunately." She sighed.

That was the first time Y/n felt it.

Y/n had been on a roller coaster only once in her life. She didn't like the way her stomach felt when the train took that first drop. She felt sick, so she never got on one again.

Until now.

It felt exactly like it. In fact, that was the only thing she could feel. Her body became paralyzed — from her feet to her vocal cords.

She was closing her eyes. No, no she wasn't, but her vision was slowly getting overcome by black particles coming together like an army. A yelling voice was knocking- banging on her skull.

Scared was an understatement, Y/n was terrified.

Her head was silent. So silent that she could hear a faint ringing. A ringing that faded into a baby's cry.

There was one thing that shut out the baby's cries, it was her head colliding with the pavement under her.

Them.

Under them.

Harry wasn't one to get scared easily, not really. But, when Rowena came up to the group with an unconscious Y/n in her arms, strawberry glaze dripping down her vanilla hair, his heart couldn't help but become paralyzed too as it fell to his feet.

Arthur pushed through the group, "What happened?" He asked Rowena in a panicked manner. The kids panicked as well, scooting away from Y/n so Arthur could inspect her bleeding head as the two adults talked rapidly.

Rowena's eyes were wide, she looked like she could cry. Her eyes were darting back and forth to both of Arthur's eyes. She looked...disappointed like this was her fault. Harry listened closely, blocking out Hermione's panicked words and Ron trying to calm her down, or get her to shut up. Harry assumed it was the first one.

"Arthur, she just- just fell off of her chair." She didn't seem like she was trying to convince him but as if she was trying to convince herself. "But before she was- she looked like she'd seen someone get killed right in front of her."

Arthur was applying pressure to her head with a white cloth. Harry knew that Y/n would be grateful that there was almost no one around at the moment; they were all inside gushing over Lockhart. The people that were around didn't pay much attention to the girl.
