"OH," Y/n said blankly. She did a small eyebrow raise before walking away from Hermione and onto the train.
When Y/n turned, Hermione was standing behind her with a worried yet angry expression. Most likely because she knew that Y/n wasn't telling her what had happened.
Y/n sighed as she grabbed Hermione's hand, pulling her into an empty compartment. She then told Hermione everything that happened.
"Are you going to tell Dumbledore?" Hermione asked, taking a cautious glance every time someone walked by the compartment. The compartment door opened before Y/n could answer.
Three girls stood in the doorway.
The tallest had dark brown hair that beautifully complemented her golden bronze skin tone and matched her eyes. "All the other compartments are full, may we sit?" The annoyance in her voice struggled not to leak through the sweet coat.
"Of course," Hermione said, giving Y/n a look of hesitance.
Y/n didn't study the girls until they sat across from Hermione and Y/n.
The girl in between the shortest and the tallest had black, curled hair. She was wearing a black leather jacket over a maroon top and black jeans. Y/n could tell she was trying to hide her nervousness with a smile.
The shortest had a light shade of brown hair that was pulled into a low ponytail. It was obvious that she was the youngest — maybe eleven. She was wearing a brown, knitted top with a white cardigan over it and a white skirt.
"Are you guys new here? I don't remember seeing you at the sorting ceremony last year, but then again my memory is awful." Y/n awkwardly chuckled, trying to get rid the of tension in the room.
