CHAPTER 4

JENNIE'S POV
Awesome, we have just three days to save that girl from dying. Athan probably knows what to do, but as always, he prefers to be his annoying self.

-Jennie: Unnie, what are we going to do?
-Jisoo: Make sure that she can't access to the rooftop (smirksl
-Jennie: Is it that easy? (looks at Athan)
-Athan: It's not funny if I tell you what to do... (chuckles) I'm just here for support, you have to be the ones thinking.
-Jennie: (sighs) I imagined something like that. Unnie, why don't we try talking with the girl?
-Jisoo: We can start there too (smiles) Let's go...
-Jennie: (nods)

We head towards the lonely girl sitting at the grades while looking at the volleyball team. I think that I know what's her problem, she's probably someone shy and has it difficult to make friends.

-Jennie: Hi, do you have a moment? (smiles) My name is Jennie and-
-Girl: Who's sending you here? Are you trying to make fun of me? If that's the point, just go straight to the point, please... (sighs)
-Jennie: But-
-Girl: I'm used to this. I understand, I'm much more pale than the rest, I'm shorter and I'm not athletic. I understand why I don't fit in here.
-Jennie: But once again I'm just-
-Jisoo: We are here to help (smiles) I'm Kim Jisoo from third course, and this girl is Jennie Kim, from second. I hope we can get along (chuckles)

-Girl:... Are you like... Serious?
-Jennie: Of course we are, I've been trying to tell you that I wanted to be friends with you but you thought I was a bully (smiles) Don't worry, I'm not like Lisa and her gang.
-Girl: They are really difficult to deal with (giggles)
-Jisoo: You have finally smiled (smiles)
-Jennie: What's your name?
-Girl: I'm Kim Dahyun, from first course (smiles) It's a pleasure.
-Jennie: Guess this is about Kim's (jokes)
-Jisoo: Guess so... (laughs)
-Jennie: Oh, I almost forgot to introduce you to our friend Athan... He's... (looks around) Well, I don't know where's him right now.
-Dahyun: A boy, huh?
-Jisoo: We don't need him (notices Dahyun relived)

Well, for the moment we know her name. But where is Athan now? I look around and suddenly spot him sitting next to Dahyun.

Is Dahyun aware of him? Oh crap, he seems to have noticed my gaze... Those deep dark eyes could surely drive anyone crazy. But I'm not that easy to get. But as the girl I am, I have to recognise when a boy is good looking, and he is.

-Athan: (mouthing) What are you looking at?
-Jennie: (mouths back) At you.
-Athan: (smirks)
-Dahyun (confused) What are you doing Jennie-ssi?
-Jennie: I am talking with Athan, uhm...
-Dahyun: And where's him?

Wait, she really doesn't see him... How's this possible? What about Jisoo? I look at her and she seems to understand me and nods at me. Okay, I'm not going crazy, he's really here.

Why can't she see him though? Don't tell me, it's related with the biggest mystery in this world. Anyway, I should focus on our mission for the moment.

-Athan: That's it, focus on helping Dahyun. I'll be heading to the club room, I feel like having a nap (sticks his tongue out)
-Jennie: Why-- (groans)

I can't stand him, that's a fact. This much mystery makes me get heaches.

-Jisoo: So, you want to enter the volleyball team because of your crush being part of it?
-Dahyun: (nods) Sana unnie... She's the brunette with that beautiful ponytail... (smiles)
-Jennie: Someone is seriously in love (smiles) That's beautiful.
-Dahyun: Are you interested in someone too? (curious) Ah, sorry if I'm asking something too personal.
-Jisoo: I'm lately into chicken, does it count? (jokes)
-Three: (crack up laughing)
-Dahyun: What about Jennie unnie? (smiles)
-Jennie: Love... Hmm, that's something big, you know? I think that I'm learning how to love myself at the moment. So I don't have any romantic plan (looks down)
-Jisoo: That was deep...
-Dahyun: It sounded very mature (amazed) Maybe that's the reason why she doesn't notice me (stands up) I have to love myself before loving someone else! I may not need to join the volleyball team after all... (smiles) I just need to make me feel better with myself... That's it.

-Jisoo: (smiles) So, what are you going to do now?
-Dahyun: Hmm... Maybe we could hang out for a while... It would be nice to to shopping (smiles shyly)
-Jisoo: What do you think, Jen? (smiles)
-Jennie: Are you kidding me? I love going shopping! (excited) Are you girls free tomorrow?
-Dahyun: (nods and smiles)
-Jisoo: Yup, it is settled then (giggles)
-Dahyun: (grabs her bag) I should be returning back to my house now. I can't wait for tomorrow!

We watch her exit the gym happily... Is it me, or did her crush take a glance already? I guess that everything is about attitude after all.

-Jisoo: What should we do now?
-Jennie: Do you like creppes? (smiles)
-Jisoo: Gosh, I love them (chuckles)
-Jennie: I know a place where you can eat them and it's so darn good (excited) Let's go?
-Jisoo: What about Athan?
-Jennie: He's taking a nap (srughs) He didn't collaborate with us, so he doesn't get to eat anything.
-Athan: You are so cruel with me, Jennie Kim (smirksl
-Jennie: (turns around and bumps with his chest) Athan! (surprised) When did you... Ugh, never mind.
-Jisoo: Are you joining us? (smiles)
-Athan: Nah, I'm okay (smiles) I'll see you tomorrow. You are doing really fine, girls.
-Jennie: Athan, why aren't you working with us? And why can't that girl see you?
-Athan: I wished I could explain you kitty, but that's something that you must discover by yourself, okay? (smiles and pats her head)
-Jennie: (slightly blushed) I'll kill you if you do that again with no warning...
-Athan: Hmmm, that's interesting (smirks) We'll see, have fun today. See you tomorrow (waves and starts walking away)

I'm starting to think that he's actually the biggest mystery in this world. If not, he's surely related to it. But it's not a big deal, Jisoo and I will discover it for sure.
