After briefly finishing my chat with Nico, I practically sprinted to my record label's offices.
There I demanded an appointment with Chiron with the annoyed receptionist.

Several minutes passed before I was finally allowed in Chiron's offices, where he sat at his desk reviewing something.

"Percy, I didn't expect to see you today," he said as he dropped his pen. "It's probably good you're here, anyways, as I haven't had a chance to congratulate you personally on how successful your new album has been. It's nearly number one on the ch—"

"I'm done with this record company," I said boldly.

Chiron looked as if he were close to a heart attack. "What do you mean? What about your contract?"

I shrugged. "It's up for renewal, I know that. Even if it's not I can pay to have it cancelled. And I'm done with this company unless you take my whole band."

"Your band?" Chiron asked with a raised eyebrow. "Percy, what did I tell you? What have I been telling you for years? Your band was decent, but we only have the money for one artist, so I picked the best, you."

"That was five years ago. I know I've helped this company grow, and I know you can take on my whole band," I lied.

I had no clue what their financial situation was except that I was bringing in money. I knew that for sure.

Chiron rubbed his temple. "Percy, no one has even heard of your band, no one would buy reunion tickets."

I shrugged, clearly not backing down. "Then just market us a new band. All I'm saying is that you can either have me and my whole band, or nothing at all."

"Percy, it's not that simple. I wish I could, but my boss is all caught up in money and if I sign your band and you don't bring any money in I could get fired," Chiron explained.

"Well, I'm sorry then. And I'm certain we'd make money. I have tons of loyal fans who would follow me no matter if I was performing solo or in a band," I responded. "I get it's risky, but I bring in money, and this band would, too. I made a mistake six years ago. I should never have left my band. I know that now."

After thinking and being silent for quite he nodded slowly. "You know what, Percy? Mr.D has had power for too long. I'll have to work out all the details later, but I'm signing your entire band. Have all the members be here in New York by next week, okay?"

A grin spread across my face as I nodded profusely. "Will do, Chiron. Thank you, seriously."

He smiled at me as I rushed out of his office, instantly pulling my phone out. After texting Grover, Nico, Piper, and Jason the good news I sent a final text to Annabeth.

If I was going to be in a band again, I wanted her to sit front row and watch me play.
