".....and on a different note, fans of famous singer, Percy Jackson, can't seem to get enough of his new band, which has sold out several concerts along the East coast."

My face went red as I struggled for the remote, flipping off the channel as soon as I possibly could. Annabeth laughed and planted a kiss on my face.

It had been nearly a year since Annabeth and I had gotten back together. Practically all the gossip tabloids talked about was us, but neither of us minded because we were finally back together. The news of our reunion filled every issue, but we just drowned it out.

My new band was doing great, which was an amazing surprise to me. We'd done a few concerts along the east coast and had even released an album and a few singles, all of which reaching into the top tens on the charts.

"Don't be embarrassed, people love you," she said as she leaned closer to me, a smile still etched on her face.

I wrapped an arm around her as a sigh escaped my lips. "I know, and I'm grateful and all, but this....it's a little too much."

Annabeth rolled her eyes and shook her head. "You're the only celebrity I know who's overwhelmed by their success. Well, you, Piper, Jason, Nico, and Grover. You're all so humble. I'm
used to very snobby people."

Before I could respond, Estelle rushed into the room, her hair whipping behind her. I grinned as she rushed up and instantly sat herself in between me and Annabeth.

We were at my mom's house, a place Annabeth and I had been spending a lot of time at ever since we got back together (at Estelle's request, since she seemed to like Annabeth more than me now.)

My mom and Paul trailed in behind Estelle, a smile forming on my mom's face when she saw us. She walked over to us and ruffled Estelle's hair as Paul took a seat. "You two are just the sweetest with Estelle, it warms my heart."

Annabeth laughed lightly as she wrapped an arm around Estelle. "It's hard not to love Estelle, Ms. Jackson."

Sally rolled her eyes playfully and folded her hand at Annabeth. "Call me Sally, Annabeth, you're basically a part of the family now."

Annabeth's face grew red with embarrassment but I also couldn't help but notice the huge grin that had developed on her face. "I....t-thank you," Annabeth sputtered.

Before anyone else could talk, my phone started ringing. I groaned as I pulled it out of my pocket and checked the caller ID. "Eh, it's only Chiron, it can wait. He's probably just calling me to tell me something I already know."

Annabeth frowned, clearly concerned. She seemed to take business matters more serious than I did. "You sure? It might be important?"

"We don't mind, honey," my mom said kindly, assuring me with a slight head nod. "We'll all be right here waiting."

I shook my head as I slipped the phone back in my pocket. "Nah, don't worry about it. Anyways, how is work going?"

My mom rambled on about a new book she was working on while my phone continued to ring, causing Annabeth to glare at me.

"I think it's time you answer that phone," Paul suggested with a raise of his eyebrow. "We'll all still be here when you get back."

I sighed and reluctantly pulled the ringing phone out of my pocket. It, of course, was Chiron still. I picked up the phone and waved at my family as I rushed out of the room.

"Chiron, what's the matter?" I half-whispered as I jogged into my family house's hallway. "I'm kinda busy at the moment."

I finally paused by the door where I knew I was out of earshot but could still see the room. It appeared Paul was talking to Annabeth about something boring as Estelle had started to yawn, which was typical of her.
