Tianna was speechless. She just looked at Adam.
"What?" Adam asked. "When you were gone, the whole house seemed weird."
"What do you mean?" Tianna asked. Adam then explained to her about the talking in the attic, the flickering lights, and then he told her about how as he was playing video games, the controller shocked him so much that he was knocked unconcious.
"Oh mijn goedheid*," Tianna said. "That doesn't make sense." Adam shrugged.
"I know," he told her. "But it's what happened." Tianna sighed then put her hands on Adam's.
"I will get to the bottom of this," she said. "You rest. I will come pick you up tomorrow morning ok?" Adam immediately grabbed her hands in return.
"Are you sure?" he asked. "I don't want anything to happen to you." Tianna just gave Adam a warm, comforting smile.
"I'll be careful," she answered. "Don't worry too much." She stood up, sighing, said goodbye to Adam, then left the hospital.
Now to confront critter, Tianna thought as she headed to the car.
As soon as Tianna got home, she shut the door, put her stuff down and looked around. There was little critter watching tv in the living room.
"Hey critter," Tianna said, standing in front of him. "We need to talk."
"What ever do we need to talk about?" he asked, cocking his head to one side. Tianna crossed her arms.
"Adam." Little critter didn't say anything.
"Did you have anything to do with him unconscious in the game room?" Tianna asked. Again, little critter didn't say anything.
"I need you to answer me." Little critter didn't say anything still. Tianna's anger was slowly growing. The silence was infuriating, even though it was enough of an answer. Critter not saying anything gave Tianna the answer she needed. She stormed right up to him until her face was an inch away from his.
"Leave. Adam. Alone." She said, coldly. "You do not want to mess with me." Little critter just had a blank stare on his face. Although his eyes showed slight nervousness. After a moment, Tianna stood up and left the room as critter watched her leave.
A few hours later, Tianna stood up to stretch. She had been in the office calling family members and figuring out what to do about Little Critter.
I should get a snack, Tianna thought. So she headed to the kitchen but when she opened the fridge, it was completely empty. It looked like she just bought the fridge.
"Where the hell did the groceries go?" Tianna looked around the kitchen for about five minutes and there was nothing left. She sighed then grabbed her purse to buy more groceries. Before she headed out the door, Tianna heard a voice.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." She turned around. There was little critter.
"Excuse me?" she asked.
"You heard me," critter said. "You are staying here."
