When Adam and Tianna got home from the hospital, neither of them said anything for a few minutes. Then Adam sighed and took his shoes off.

"You want something to eat?" he asked. "I can make lunch if you want." Tianna didn't say anything. She was sitting on the couch with the wooden box her uncle had given her. No movement or anything. Adam walked over to her and sat next to her.

"Hey you can talk to me babe," he said putting his hand on hers. Once he did that, the box started shaking violently and aggressively. Tianna and Adam quickly jumped up, dropping the box onto the coffee table. The box suddenly stopped. Tianna turned and looked around then back at the box.

"What the hell just happened?" she asked, panicking. Adam pulled her into a hug.

"I don't know," he said. "But it's over. Don't worry about it." Adam looked at her, gently lifting her face so she could look back. Tianna had a nervous and scared expression on her face, but she was trying to hide it.

"Why don't you go take a nap and relax," Adam suggested. "I'll go put the box somewhere safe." Tianna slowly nodded, then headed to her room, shutting the door behind her. Adam sighed then looked at the box.

Now what to do with it, he thought. Adam grabbed the box, then headed to the attic and tucked it somewhere deep near a few big boxes at the end.

That should be good, Adam thought. I don't want Tianna to stress herself out. Then Adam headed back down and went into the bedroom. Tianna was just laying on the bed, facing the wall with the blanket over her, including her face. Adam sat on the bed and looked at her.

"I put the box away for you," he said. "So don't worry about it ok? You hungry?" Tianna poked her head out from under the blanket and nodded. Adam chuckled then stood up.

"Ok how about some tacos?" he suggested. Tianna smiled.

"Sounds good," she replied. Adam nodded with a warm smile then headed to the kitchen to make food. Tianna continued to lay down.

Why did uncle give me that box? she wondered.
