Henry's heart stopped as he looked at Elizabeth and he looked at her in horror. She had tears springing into her eyes but none fell. She frowned and shook her head, "I knew it!" She said with an upset and angry tone. Henry opened his mouth but nothing came out, he couldn't find the right words to console her on this situation. "I let my guard down, I should've kept the armor on, I never should've trusted you!" She said shaking her head and holding back sobs with tears glinting in her eyes walking backwards towards the door.
"No! N-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-no no no!" Henry said running after her trying to explain. She was already out the door when he caught up with her. He put his hands on her biceps and spun her around. She said his name, her voice cracking when he did this he probably hurt her while turning her around because he had such a tight grasp.
But once he turned her around he only received a sharp painful slap across the face, causing him to stumble backwards from the blow. "I knew you were just playing a game to distract yourself!" She said choking sobs and blowing at her eyes to keep tears from falling. "You're just like every other guy I dated! Just to have a pretty girl around your arm to show off to your friends." Henry stood up to explain but he only received a square-up punch to the face. He yelled in pain covering his hand over his eye realizing that he was getting beat up. "I knew this was never going to work with my job!" She said screaming at him at this point. "I don't want to see you again except in an official capacity." She said remembering that they go to school and work together, then, she ran home.

The Thorntons home... Elizabeth burst through the doors of her house to find her Dad sitting on the couch working on the crib for the new baby and her grandmother in the kitchen. Mr.Thornton stood up in alarm. "Flower! You gave me a heart attack!" he said putting a hand to his chest. When he walked over to his daughter, he felt something was wrong. "What's wrong?" He asked worriedly, "and why aren't you in school?" He interrogated his southern accent coming on strong.
"I'm the girl in a country song." She said upset, he raised his head showing that he understood what he meant. He pulled her into a tight hug, it always killed him to see his Elizabeth-Lillian his precious Texas Flower upset. Which is why he never approved of boys.
"I'm sorry Flower."

Up in Elizabeth-Lillian's room... Elizabeth was looking through the pages of her notebook. At the song she wrote called 'Heart attack' she decided that it was the perfect time to record.
