28. An Impossible Truth

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Charlotte, happy birthday to you!" Ray, Jasper, and Henizabeth sang while bringing Charlotte into Schwoz's RV. They removed her blindfold and yelled, "ta-da!"

"Where am I?"

"You're in Schwoz's RV!" Yelled Ray cheerfully

"Yeah," Henry started, "this is Schwoz's recreational vehicle."

"And you're giving it to me for my birthday?"

"No." They all said as well as other rejections to her theory.

"We're taking you somewhere." Informed Jasper.

"Guess where." Said Ray.

She stood there in silence for a while until Henry cut in, "Do you want a hint?"

"Ooo a hint!" Said Ray. The group of friends huddled together to discuss their hint and pushed Charlotte to the side. "BOO!!!" They all yelled at her.

Charlotte jumped and screamed and put her hand to her chest, "Well I hope my gift is a new heart!"

"It's not a new heart," Ray said snootily.

"But if you ever do need a new heart..." Schwoz said, bending down towards Charlotte and whispered, "I know a guy."

"You're too close." Said Charlotte. "Soooo, tell me where you're taking me for my birthday."

"Why tell you, when we can show you." Started Ray, "show her the tickets."

"What?" Asked Henry.

"The tickets, you have them don't you."

"No, we got e-tickets."

"Huh? You didn't print them out?"

"Print them out!?" Henry scoffed, "oh yeah, we printed them out, on paper!"

"We don't have actual 'physical tickets'" Jasper said with air quotes.

"N-n-n-n-n-n-n-no we have e-tickets." Repeated Henry.

"Well, that makes me sick," Liz said agreeing with Ray.

"Thank you!" Ray screamed, "at least one of us is level-headed!"

"Soooooo...where are we going!?"

"Okay," Henry started, "remember that time when—"

"We're taking you to see Boo Man Group!" Cut in Ray.

"Ahhhhh! Really!?"

"Yeah really." Said Schwoz and Jasper.

"I had a great hint!" Yelled the aggravated teenager.

"Oh my god, I'm so excited!" Charlotte squealed.

"I'm excited and I don't even know that Boo Man Group is." Added Schwoz.

"What!?" They all said.

"The Boo Man Group, are a bunch of guys who dress up as ghosts, and juggle." Informed Charlotte.

"Silently." Added Henry.

"Hey, the show starts at eight right?" Asked Lizzie.

"Oh yeah, it's almost seven we better start getting a move on," Ray said, checking his watch.

Elizabeth, Charlotte, and Jasper sat in the back, Henry got in the passenger seat, and Schwoz was sitting where Ray wanted to sit—-the driver's seat. "Move."
