His Safe Arms

Atsumu's POV

I left pretty early in the morning while Sakusa was still asleep, and it was Saturday meaning Kazumi was also asleep. I already came up with my excuse for later and it was that I was out with Kageyama and Hinata. Before I left I did text Hinata explaining if Sakusa called him just say I was out with Kageyama getting food for us.

I had finally arrived and was introduced to the nice lady from before. She tapped on the book in front remembering I needed to check in with the time as well so I did. She led me to the room where Kita was at sitting on the couch with a book.
Yesterday I asked Kita his schedule on when he was here and what time.

"Hey Kita! Have you ate yet?" I said trying to start the conversation first. He looked up from his book and placed it down once he saw it was me.

"No i haven't, why?" He said with his head tilted to the side. I walked up to him and grabbed both of his hands and pulled him up to his feet.

"Then time to get the most important meal of the day-."

"Serving it up Gary's WAY!" Kita said cutting me off. We looked at each other before bursting out laughing. "Okay come on let's go!" I said after stopping myself from laughing.

I already asked the lady beforehand if it was okay for him to leave and she said it was so we went. We went to the same cafe from long ago. The one where the kagehina duo brought us on the double date.

We sat down and ordered our drinks and food, our drinks came first before our food. I got a strawberry milkshake and Kita just got water.

"So..how has life been?" I said not knowing a clue on what to say. Kita looked up from sipping his water and raised an eyebrow.

"Tsumu why are you actually doing this? You do realize you don't have to visit me especially after everything.." he said looking away from my gaze. I smiled at him and drank my smoothie then stopped.

"Because everyone deserves a second chance...and I can't help but feel guilty that I was somewhat of the cause that you turned into..that." I said fidgeting with my fingers.

"No..I should've just told you the truth that very day." He hid his face with his hands. I wanted to laugh because the top of his head looked funny so I poked it to stop myself from laughing. He lifted his head up and rubbed the top of his head confused.

"Do I have something in my hair?" He said still rubbing his hair. I shook my head and drank my smoothie.

"So have you contacted Akagi yet?" I said. I haven't stayed in contact with Akagi for the longest of time. I still had his number that is if he didn't change it.

"No i haven't..I just done know what to say to him..you know?" He said grabbing his phone and looking at the screen.

"Here hand me your phone!" I said snatching the phone before he could give it to me.

Password protected damn.

"Put in your password!" I said. He glared at me for a bit then grabbed his phone out of my hands.

"No! I know you to well to the point that I know what you plan on doing!" He said. I rolled my eyes, "well are you going to text him or what?!" I said.
