•Chapter 40•

Hi before this chapter gets started I would just like to say that most of you guys have seen me use the terms "rat" or "ratsumu" in the beginning of Stormy Night.

Some of you guys may or may not know but the tiktoker Chloetakami is getting cancelled for using those names towards Atsumu.

I'm saying this because I for one did not know that rat was a slur, and I don't want people getting the idea that I'm a bad person and I also don't want anyone doing the same mistake. Since a bunch of people have read stormy night I felt like it was right for me to get that out there to those that may have not known.

I'm completely sorry if anyone was offended while reading Stormy Night. It was never my intention to do so.

Now about Stormy night and the recent problem that Sakusa, Atsumu, Kita, and Akagi were just in. I would just like to clarify to a comment that I saw on chapter 39 and it's that yes they did just deal with something big. To Sakusa and Atsumu having problems in their relationship to Kita almost taking his life away.

The point of Chapter 39 was meant to be a break for not just the readers but for the characters as well.

Sakusa and Atsumu just need a break from all the problems that they have in their life, and I feel like me making that chapter was the best possible choice. Since I don't want them to dwell over everything.

It may seem like it's to early for them to be happy, acting goofy, and making a bet, but that's the way I'm making it for they can build up to the point where they are no longer sticking to the past.

The bet is supposed to test if Sakusa was actually honest about him TRUSTING Atsumu, and be able to talk to him about not liking Atsumu being clingy to iwaizumi!  The same goes for Atsumu which you will see later on!

Hope that clarifies things up :)

Building Up

Atsumu's POV

We were on the second set of the game and sadly Argentina took the first set. I was on the court right now since me and Kageyama have been switching places to change the tide of the game.

Luckily my sets weren't that bad as I thought they were gonna be the moment I started. But they did need a tad bit of perfection to them.

It was once again Oikawa's serve and I could just tell he was fuming with pride and anger. I sure did piss him off as I continued to get close to Iwaizumi off the court. Sakusa was basically trying to burn the back of Iwaizumi's head with his eyes when I kept going over to speak to him.

I watched as Oikawa served towards Hinata and I could've sworn Hinata was in the perfect set up to receive that serve but it spun out of control off the court.

I looked over at him and stuck my tongue out which in return he winked and held up a peace sign.

Classic Oikawa.

That's 22-24! One more point for Argentina and they take this whole game!

The announcer made me really furious that he just had to make it even more clear that we'll lose. All we have to do is hope that one of us is able to pick up Oikawa's serve.
