Surprise

Atsumu's POV

Me and Sakusa were wasting time by staying inside the car. We had already dropped off Kazumi at school and we were just nervous to go to practice. We changed into practice clothes ahead of time so we wouldn't have to change here.

"You go inside first and tell me if it's safe." I nudged Sakusa to open the car door and enter. He turned to face me with a glare.

"Shouldn't you be the one heading inside first?! They haven't heard from you the most!" He shot back at me making me stunned in my seat.

"Fine! But you best expect me to sleep with little omi instead!" I said before opening the car door and before I closed it I heard Sakusa's door open as well. "No don't!" Is what he said as he trailed behind me.

Both of us slowly approached the entrance and went inside then headed for the double doors to the court. The sound of shoes squeaking inside made me crave to start playing again. Then I heard the ball slam to the floor as I swung the door open in that second.

Everyone fell silent as they kept their eyes glued onto us. Sakusa and I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to say. Even the coach wasn't saying anything.

"TSUM TSUM! SAKUSA!" The tangerine looking male and an owl looking fellow approached us while yelling, skipping, hopping, you name it and that's what they were doing.

We were both attacked with a grizzly bear hug from the two. Making sure they had cut off our oxygen supply.

"Oh my god! Where have you been Atsumu!? And are you both okay?! How is your injury Sakusa!? What about Kazumi?! Wait are you guys still fighting?!?" Bokuto and Hinata said one thing then the other said something else.

"Glad to see you guys are back!" Meian said as he approached us. Once he got close enough he also tackled us with a hug.

"You two! Stop harassing them can't you see that they're just barely coming back!" He flicked both of them in the forehead and they were sent to the ground crying because of how it hurt so much.

"S-sorry about missing out on practices and everything else..uh we just needed some time to figure ourselves out especially our problems.." Sakusa said.

"It's alright what matters most is that you guys are okay and well. How's that arm Sakusa?" He said and Sakusa wiggled his arm a bit.

"It's fine but it will take 6 weeks to heal but a week and some day have already passed by so maybe 4 weeks at most." He said.

"That's good but we should see what you can and can't do for now. Obviously you won't be able to play in this upcoming game but that's-."

I cut him off as I panicked, " A GAME?! BUT BUT IM OUT OF SHAPE! When is it exactly?!" I basically yelled out starting to get nervous.

"It's later today but-."

I cut him off yet again, "TODAY!? okay I'll be taking my leave to go die in a hole thank you for everything." I said turning for the door.

"Let me finish!" He yelled making me stop from walking out.

"It's today and it's a big game-."

"HOW IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER!?" I said because it's a BIG GAME!

"Did i say it was supposed to make you feel better?" He smirked at me and so did Sakusa making me pout.

"But here's the best part!" I raised my eyebrow at him wondering what it is.
