Love

Atsumu's POV

I had come to the decision to distance myself from Sakusa for good. It's the only way he could be happy and safe and that's all I care about.

Osamu stayed with me the entire day and later got me out of the hospital the next day. It was going to be hard to avoid Sakusa since I have to practice with him...and from now on I have to sleep in my room.

I can't even go in there for a second because it makes me uncomfortable and just brings back those memories. But I'm going to have to be strong and force myself to go in.

When we arrived Osamu took me all the way up to my room and left me in front of Sakusa's door since he knows I've been staying there. We said our goodbyes and he left down the stairs. Everyone was still practicing so no one was around to see me just starring at the door handle. I grabbed it and it sent shivers up my spine. Then I walked it getting a sick feeling in my stomach.

I grabbed new sheets to change my messy bed and then started cleaning the bathroom. The bathroom really gave me a bad vibe and I just couldn't shake it off. When I finished organizing and cleaning it still felt so wrong being in here.

What if I just..

I walked outside my door and went inside Sakusa's room. The door wasn't even locked which made me glad. I went to his bathroom and found his cologne so I took it and went to my room to spray it everywhere. Just by doing that gave me comfort because it smelled just like my Omi-Omi.

I decided to return his cologne instead of keeping it. Then quickly rushed back into my room to get hit by the instant smell of him. I noticed the teddy bear he got me on the sofa so I grabbed it and cuddled with it on the bed.

This is going to be harder than I thought...

Sakusa's POV

We had a short break during practice so I went out the doors bumping into Osamu. "Oh hey?Why are you here?" I said stepping a bit away from him. "I dropped off Atsumu today didn't he tell you?" I shook my head no and got a little confused on why he didn't text or call me about it.

"That's strange he didn't even text me anything about this? I thought he would've left like in the afternoon."

"Now that you say it he has been acting a bit off since yesterday. I asked him about it and he said he was fine but well you know it's Atsumu we're talking about." He let out a sigh. "He's probably sleeping right now so talk to him when he's awake." Osamu gave me a smile before walking away.

I walked up the stairs to Atsumu's room. I had to be quick since I didn't have much time till we have to resume practice again. When I arrived to my room I opened the door expecting to see Atsumu in my bed but he wasn't. I walked myself over to the bathroom door and knocked. Nothing.

I started getting worried. Like what if something bad happened to him, did he leave by himself what if He came for him!

I pulled out my phone and called Atsumu. The phone rang and rang till I heard a ringing sound from the other side of the wall. That's when I really started panicking. I hanged up and rushed over to his room and entered.

I was relieved to see a sleeping Atsumu cuddling the teddy bear in his arms. My heart started beating at a normal pace when I saw that he was okay. Then is smelled his room.

Is this my cologne?

I let out a quiet laugh and walked over to Atsumu sitting beside him. I stroked his hair from his face and saw how peaceful he looked.
