Chapter 16: Purple Eyes

A/N: Heyyyyyyyy sorry about the big gap. A bunch of things happened but I'm hopefully gonna be back. Now enough excuses. Here is the next chapter!

The Hospital Room

Murasakibara sighed as he finished his drink, "Aka-chin the shake is done."

Akashi looked over at him from one of the charts he was holding, "How about you get some snacks from the cafeteria? I'll pay."

"But Kuro-chin and Haza-chin-"

"Shintaro and I are here. We'll watch them." Akashi took out his wallet and took out a black credit card, "Here you remember how to use it right?"

Murasakibara nodded as he stood up and took it.

"What do you say when someone is paying for something, Murasakibara?" Midorima asked.

"Thank you Aka-chin," Murasakibara said.

"You're welcome Atsushi," Akashi chuckled.

"And don't spend too much. It's almost morning and you need to eat breakfast soon," Midorima said.

"Yes Mido-chin." Atsushi said as he walked out of the room.

"You spoil him too much." Midorima said as he pushed up his glasses.

"Maybe but it makes him happy and keeps him calm." Akashi said as he sat next to Kuroko.

"How long will we be able to keep him calm though? He'll get desperate soon." Midorima looked at him.

"We'll just have to pray that Tetsuya and Shogo wake up soon." Akashi looked over at Kuroko. 'And when they wake we'll all have a talk.'

Murasakibara walked around looking for the cafeteria. He yawned and rubbed his eyes, "I wonder if Kuro-chin and Haza-chin are hungry after their sleepy time. I should get them snacks too." He smiled as he found the cafeteria. He grabbed a few things and waited in line to pay. While he was waiting he overheard the man behind him talking.

"Yeah he's in a coma. Well I don't know the doctors say he's in the right position to wake up but you know what that really means. Yeah that usually means he will never wake up." The man talked on his phone.

Murasakibara turned a bit to look at the man. He was pretty tall with blonde hair and a tattoo on his neck. 'I heard Aka-chin and Mido-chin talking about coma's. Is that what Kuro-chin and Haza-chin are in? Are they not going to wake up?' Tears started to form as his heart began to race.

"Yeah and after a while you know it's a bit sad. I think we're gonna have to pull the plug and let them die." The man said.

Murasakibara instantly dropped the snacks and grabbed the man by the shirt and glared at him. "Don't talk about that! They will wake up!" He growled as the man just looked at Murasakibara and smirked.

"Are you sure? Maybe they won't come back because they hate you." He whispered as Murasakibara's eyes widen. He raised his fist and was going to punch him before he felt someone grab his arm.

"Murasakibara stop! What are you doing?!" Aomine was trying to pull him back.

"He said they're going to let Kuro-chin and Haza-chin die!" Murasakibara yelled as tears fell.

"I'm sorry if you misheard me in a private conversation but I said no such thing. I don't even know you." The blonde man said as he looked confused.

"No you're lying!" Murasakibara yelled at him.

"Stop it. Sir I'm so sorry. We're going through some things so he's a little emotional. Murasakibara let him go or I'm calling Akashi." Aomine managed to pull him away from the man.

"I'm not lying, he said it! He said it!" Murasakibara looked at him with pure fear and anger.

"Whatever you thought you heard isn't true. Now come on. Let's pick up these snacks and let's go back. Sir again I'm so sorry-eh?" Aomine looked around to see the man had disappeared.

"Mine-chin I swear he said they were gonna like Kuro-chin and Haza-chin die. I don't want them to die." He cried.

"They won't die. Come on let's pick up. We're gonna go see them and you'll see that they are alive." Aomine said gently as they started to pick up the snacks. Murasakibara looked broken as he paid for the snacks. They went back to the room where Murasakibara instantly went to Akashi and got on his knees and started to cry.

Akashi and Midormia looked shocked as they looked at Aomine.

Aomine sighed. "He overheard some guy talking and I guess someone they know is in a coma or something and Murasakibara got it in his head that he was talking about Tetsu and Haizaki."

"He said Kuro-chin and Haza-chin were going to die! He said it! I'm not lying!" Murasakibara cried.

The guardians looked over at Himuro who sighed.

"Honestly I didn't hear the guy say anything about Kuroko and Haizaki. I'm thinking he's still in shock." Himuro said.

"I believe you Murasakibara. Here why don't you take a nap. I'll find whoever it is and punish them okay?" Akashi rubbed his head.

"You believe me Aka-chin?" Murasakibara sniffled.

"Of course but right now for Tetsuya's and Shogo's sake we need you to be calm. Take a nap and I'll wake you when breakfast is here." Akashi smiled softly as Murasakibara nodded. He went to the chair and sat down instantly falling asleep.

"Do you actually believe him?" Midormia asked.

"I believe he thinks he knows what he heard but I believe he let his imagination run wild. Thankfully he didn't hurt the guy right Daiki?" Akashi looked at him.

"Right. He was about to though." Aomine said.

Kise came in. "Hey I'm back."

"And where were you?" Akashi asked.

"Me? Oh I was calming Momochii down before sending her home." Kise said before looking at Murasakibara. "Why is he asleep?"
"Long story." Aomine said as he went to lay down with Kuroko.

Kasamatsu looked around. "Kuroko and Kagami haven't come back?"

"Weren't they with you?" Imayoshi asked.

"They went ahead after you guys left." Kasamatsu said.

"We need to look for them then." Haizaki said.

"Woah maybe Kuroko just needed a minute. Let's wait a bit." Nijimura said as he looked out the window. 'It's almost time.'
