A/N: Hello and here is the second to last chapter of this story! It's a little short but the final chapter will be longer! Enjoy!
Kuroko looked over his grandmother who was sleeping on a bed provided by Midormia's father. Kuroko smiled gently as he watched over her. Kagami stood next to him.
"You really love her don't you." Kagami stated."I do. She's all I have left." Kuroko said.
"After all this have you made your choice?" Kagami asked.
"I...I don't know. I still have this fear that they'll go back to how they were before. That this change is only temporary." Kuroko held himself.
"That's the thing about these situations. You have to have faith in them. Faith that they'll change for the better. They already started. Give them a chance." Kagami said. "Live Kuroko."
Kuroko looked at him and smiled softly. "Thank you Kagami-kun. For everything you and your friends have done for me."
"I will always be here. You may not be able to see me but know I'm there for you." Kagami smiled.
"Will I ever get to see you again?" Kuroko asked.
"One day, I'll always be watching over you though." Kagami put his arm around him, "I am your guardian after all."
Kuroko nodded as he smiled.
"Come on, let's head back so Captain can help us take you back to the mortal world." Kagami said as they teleported back to the room.
Kuroko and Haizaki's Room
Kuroko and Kagami appeared in the room as the guardians looked over at them.
"There you are, where were you two?" Himuro asked.
"Sorry I asked Kagami-kun if he could take me to see my grandmother." Kuroko bowed.
"It's alright we were just worried that you changed your mind." Reo smiled, "It seems like you made a choice."
Kuroko nodded as he went up to Haizaki, "Ready to go back home?"
"Yeah." Haizaki smiled a bit.
"Great now the sun is almost up I say that's the perfect time to put you back in your bodies." Nijimura said.
"What do we have to do?" Haizaki asked.
"Me and Taiga will hold your hand and touch your physical body. You have to have a clear mind and once you do you'll be back in your body." Nijimura said.
"And why do we have to wait for the sun to come up?" Kuroko asked.
"Well look at it," Nijimura said as the sun was barely starting to rise. "Isn't it a beautiful sight?"
"Weirdo." Haizaki said as the rest laughed a bit.
"Come on let's get you guys back." Nijimura said as he and Kagami put their hands on their human's chest. They each stretched out their arms towards them.
Haizaki held Kuroko's hand who squeezed it in reassurance. They went to their guardians. Haizaki took Nijimura's hand, "You finally get what you wanted."
"You ain't getting rid of me that easily. I'll still be watching over you." Nijimura smiled, "You are a good kid you know."
"Whatever." Haizaki turned away.
Kuroko looked at the rest of the guardians. "Thank you for everything." He bowed.
"Any time." Kasamatsu said as the guardians smiled and waved.
Kuroko took Kagami's hand and smiled.
Haizaki and Kuroko looked over at the window where the sun was almost half way rising. They closed their eyes and started to clear their minds.
They started to glow as Haizaki was the first to glow brightly and disappeared.
Kise sighed as he rubbed Haizaki's hand. He felt immense guilt. 'I swear Haizakichii when you wake up I'll try to get along with you.' He looked at his hand as he saw Haizaki's hand twitch. Kise blinked and looked at Haizaki's face. Haizaki was looking right at him. Kise's eyes widen'
"HAIZAKICHII!" Kise instantly hugged him as everyone looked at the two.
"Get off! Damn it Ryota you're so loud!" Haizaki growled.
"Haza-chin." Murasakibara looked at him.
"Haizaki you're back." Midormira went to his side. "I need to get my father so he can check on you." He was about to go when Haizaki grabbed his hand.
"Wait Tetsuya is going to wake soon." Haizaki said.
"What do you mean?" Akashi asked.
"We'll explain later. Ryota get off me you're so damn heavy." Haizaki tried to push him off.
"No the gods answered my prayers so I'm not letting you go." Kise said.
"Kise get off him, he's still weak from his coma." Akashi said.
Aomine looked over before he looked at Kuroko. "Tetsu, Tetsu wake up." He held him.
Kuroko gulped as he was still glowing.
"Come on, clear your mind." Kagami said reassuringly.
"I'm scared. I'm so scared." Kuroko whimpered.
"You can do this. They're all waiting for you, come on." Kagami encouraged.
Kuroko looked over to Aomine who was holding on to his body. He smiled a bit as he started to glow brightly before he disappeared.
"Come on Tetsuya, you said we'd do this together." Haizaki said as they looked over Kuroko.
"Tetsu please, please come back to me." Aomine whispered.
Kuroko groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. He looked up at Aomine. "Aomine-kun."
Aomine let his tears fall. "Tetsu!" He held him close as he cried. "I'm so sorry! I'm so so sorry!"
Kuroko smiled and held him close. "I know. I forgive you." He looked over at everyone. "I forgive all of you."
"Kuro-chin." Murasakibara let his tears fall.
"Kurokochii." Kise cried as he still held on to the annoyed Haizaki.
"Kuroko." Midormia smiled.
"Welcome back Tetsuya." Akashi smiled.
The guardians looked at each other and smiled.
"They're finally all together." Kagami said.
