*Flashback to 3 years ago*

I was peacefully walking down the pavement, the sun shining bright in my eyes as I ate my delicious, mouthwatering ice-cream. I was nodding my head along with the music that was being produced from my AirPods and was casually letting out small dance moves as I went.

"Mhmm." I started humming along to the main chorus, not really paying any attention to my surroundings.

I thought I heard a distant yell but it wasn't my name so I ignored it.

I kept on jamming to my jams, when I saw a flashing light. My eyes widened as I saw a big truck heading straight for me.

My whole body froze while my brain screamed at me to move. I could still hear a far away scream but it was as if I was paralyzed, too scared to move.

As cliche as it sounded, my life actually flashed before my eyes.

Every time my father abused me, every time my so called friends ditched me, all of my not to nice relationships, and the point that I had done absolutely nothing in my life.

I didn't want to die. I hadn't lived enough yet.

I let out a scream when someone grabbed me and we both dived out of the trucks way. I sucked in a breath as I felt my body hit the cold, hard ground.

"Hey! Are you okay?" someone yelled, a pair of hands grabbing my shoulders and shaking them harshly.

I didn't open my eyes. I didn't want to.

Every part of me ached and just for a second, I had the sudden thought of being in the arms of someone, anyone, that I loved.

"Hey!" the person yelled again and I noticed how sound was so much clearer now.

I realized my AirPods must have fallen off and were probably long gone by now.

"Are you alright?"

Slowly, I allowed my eyes to blink open, a blinding light flashing in front of my face. I blinked again, my vision clearing and allowing me to see my saviour.

"Are you an angel?"  I asked at once, my voice weak.

The boy who looked like an angel was silent for a few seconds before letting out a relieved laugh.

"Yes, I'm a fucking angel." the boy sweared and I frowned.

Slowly, I sat up, feeling blood rush to different parts of my body as I eyed the male.

He looked like he was around my age, sitting in a crouched position staring at me with wide, brilliant dark brown eyes. He slightly tilted his head and his soft looking red hair fell sideways, the bangs nearly covering his beautiful eyes. He had a nice, smooth jawline and beautiful pink lips, almost begging me to kiss them.

What the heck? Was he an actual angel?

"Woah..." I muttered out loud and blushed, my cheeks turning red.

My eyes glanced down at his arm and I was horrified to find a deep gash printed on his elbow, blood trailing down.

"Oh no!" I gasped, sitting up at once, startling the male and causing him to fall over.

"What?" he asked frantically but froze when I grabbed his arm.

"That must hurt." I said, my face scrunching into a painful look.

"It's fine." the boy said, distracted.

I didn't notice. I also didn't notice how his eyes were watching me, a fierce gaze stuck to me as I continued to check his arm.

"We should get you fixed!" I exclaimed and stood up, startling the male yet again.

"We should YOU fixed" he emphasized before following my action.

Before I knew it, we had discovered each others name's and were sitting in the hospital, getting patched up.

"Thank you." I muttered quietly when he was walking me home.

"It's fine." the boy who had introduced himself as Kim Sunwoo replied.

"Sunwoo..." I trailed off and watched as the said boy's eyes shut and a pleased look crossed his face.

"Yeah?" he asked, opening his eyes as a new smile lingered on his lips.

"You broke my AirPods!" I yelled and hit him, taking him by surprise.

"The heck?! Dude I saved you life! Who cares about the damn AirPods?!" he gasped at once, offended.

"Me! You owe me AirPods!" I replied before stomping off.

Sunwoo quickly caught up to me and we continued to walk in silence until I reached my home.

"I live here." I said, before realizing the information I had given to the stranger.

But he took no notice of it. Instead, he was busy writing something on a note I didn't know he had. His tongue was poking out of his mouth, eyebrows scrunched in concentration.

He looked so cute.

Finally, he looked up and handed me the note.

"That's my number, text me when you're free." he said.

"Why?"  I asked but secretly, I was glad.

I wanted to see this Kim Sunwoo again.

"I'll take you out and buy new AirPods." he winked before turning around and walking off, hands stuck in his pockets.

"You also owe me ice-cream!" I yelled.

"It's a date then!" he answered, allowing another blush to find my cheeks.

I let out a soft giggle and waited, watching the boy until his figure disappeared out of sight.

"Kim Sunwoo, huh?" I muttered before turning around and heading into my house.
