"So Kim Sunwoo saved you from an accident?" Kim Seokjin confirmed and I firmly nodded, willing myself not to cry at the memory of the boy.
"Ok. If you don't mind, could you come back day after tomorrow for a few more questions?" Seokjin asked, eyeing me through is glasses, observing my reaction.
"Sure." I replied, trying my best not to shake as I stood up and grabbed my purse which had been resting on the single desk.
"Ok see you soon then Ms. Lee."
Seokjin stood up as well and held out his hand for me to shake.
"Just Ashlyn please." I repeated, before shaking his hand and walking out the door.
Once outside, I called a cab and was thankful when it came very quickly. I stayed quiet during the car ride back, recalling my conversation.
"Are you alright miss?"
I looked up and saw a pair of concerned eyes through the mirror.
"I'm feeling just fine." I replied and offered a small smile.
He returned it and diverted his attention back to the road.
I sighed and looked out the window. My eyes widened as they drifted towards the space between two posh buildings. I felt my heart stop as I gasped and fell back from the window.
It was him.
Heart still beating fast, I heard the driver ask me if I was fine. I hastily replied a 'yes!' before scrambling to look out the window again.
Relief flooded my body when I saw the usual buildings and no familiar faces in the crowd.
"I must have imagined it." I muttered under my breath and sat back, an uneasy feeling settled in my body.
"We're here miss." the driver said after a few minutes and I nodded, paying before getting out of the car and walking to my apartment.
I headed into the elevator and clicked on the 19th floor ( anyone see what I did there? ). When I arrived, I walked out and headed towards my house. I noticed soon that the whole floor was deserted and that no one was there.
Starting to feel a little creeped out, I quickened my pace and grabbed my keys the moment I arrived. Very suddenly, the air around me started to become cold and I slammed the keys into the lock, harshly turning the lock and yanking the door open just as I felt a cold hand on my shoulder.
I screamed and jumped, only to see...
Kevin.
"YOU IDIOT YOU FREAKING SCARED ME!" I screamed before hitting him.
The male doubled up and took in a sharp breath, groaning in shock and pain.
"Sorry! I just wanted to see if you were okay!" He whined, rubbing the area I punched.
I sighed, "I'm fine Kevin."
"Okay. I just thought..." he trailed off, looking thoughtful.
"Thought that I would be sad and start crying?" I asked, my voice neutral, arms crossed.
He nodded sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm fine Kev." I reassured him before waving him off.
"Bye then!" Kevin called before I closed the door.
"That guy..." I muttered and rolled my eyes as I took off my scarf and hung it up on the rack.
